Has anyone tried the Heck chicken Italia sausages? They are gluten free and low fat and I got mine from Mr T. They are made with chicken, basil, tomato and mozzarella and there are 10 sausages in the pack and only 3.5 syns for the whole pack, yum.
Tracey
I've not seen those. They sound really good especially for anyone that needs gluten free.
Meant to post my own meal plan. Today's EE:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA milk and bit of parmesan at lunch
L: 3 egg tomato and mushroom omelette with beetroot and pickled onionsSzechuan beef (mushrooms, peppers, maybe beansprouts) with noodles
Syns: scrape of spread, noodles (I think 2 between us), may have a spring roll and wine syns:j0 -

Hi all.. haven't been posting much as i'm really not feeling it at the moment (what's new!:o).. I am coming on everyday to collect your losses though so at least i'm still reading how well everyone's doing :T:T
MrsR - I only spend about £50 a week too also cooking from scratch a lot. Your menu doesn't seem particularly expensive today.. Is it just an oven that you don't have? I remember you saying that you have to use a microwave a lot..
Anyway updated chartMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

S. Soup 2 diarylea triangles and 3 dark rye ryvita..
Sunday
B Bacon egg tomatos , mushrooms and baked beans,

D Roast pork with chopped apple (not going to cook it)

Looks good Meg, just make sure your pineapple is fresh not tinned. A pineapple ring from a tin is 1 syn.

Sorry to hear you're feeling like that shala. It's really kind of you to update the chart. Hopefully your mojo will return very soon.:A0 -
Thanks for the chart Shala.
Hope you feel more with it soon x0 -
Can I sneak back in?
I posted in the SW a while back when I was still going to group - before starting work full time and not being able to make any of the local groups!
Since then I've had a beautiful baby girl but that has meant I got slack and I'm embarrassed to say that I've gained about 2.5st in baby weight. I've not had the enthusiasm to get back on the healthy eating until now either as it's been lots of quick/convenience meals and last weekend we were away Friday (morning) - Monday (night) and had 6 take away meals (2 lunches, 4 evening meals) which left me feeling bleurgh
Anyway bf has gone to a training camp in America today and is gone for 12 days so I'm using this as my kick startBeing on only SMP I can't afford to go to group at the minute so I may need to ask about syn values (probably more often at first) hope that's ok and no one minds?!
I'll be following EE as it worked so well for me before and pairing it with lots of walking with the pram and general bits like that. Ideally I'd like all 35lb gone by the last week of August which gives me 16weeks...meaning I need to average 2.1lb per week - healthy and certainly do ablefeeling very positive now I've actually worked that out and written it down!
Today I have been slightly over syns but that was a little slip up this morning when bf left at 4.30am! I've had:
4.30am: 4 cadburys misshapes (imperfect roses/selection chocs) @ 2.5syns each = 10 syn
breakfast: trimmed bacon and grilled cherry tomatoes with 3 eggs in an omlette, cup of tea with milk (from HeA)
Lunch: 200g cream of tomato soup (left over from yesterdays lunch) = 6 syn
Tea: mash (no fat or milk), savoury mince (all free), extra mixed veggies
Snacks: satsumas, banana
Drinks: tea (with milk from HeA allowance), NAS squash
HeA: 250ml semi skimmed milk
HeB: hadn't realised I don't really have anything in atm...will maybe have to leave this for today as I have some scan bran but nothing to go on it! Cereal bars I have in I would have to syn, won't really fancy porridge later I don't think!
Have already planned tomorrow; will either pop to the shop and get a HeB option or have porridge for breakfast to make sure I get it in
Sorry for the mammoth post!************************************

But..... I have batch cooked
5x portions speed soup
5 x portions SW chicken chow mein from fake away book
4 x portions of pasta and veg bake from EE all in one book
4 portions beef and veg hot pot from EE all in one book
And 4 x portions go chicken korma from fake away book
Should see me good for a couple of weeks
I do! It's one of the reasons I wanted to give up baking for a living. I use a rubber door mat to stand on in the kitchen, as it absorbs pressure on your feet, and through your legs.
Wish I could be as organised as you with the batch cooking - it's something I want to start doing. What do you store your portions in for the freezer? I was thinking of doing individual lasagne, but thought I'd need to buy foil dishes to do them.Hi all.. haven't been posting much as i'm really not feeling it at the moment (what's new!:o).. Thanks so much for the chart Shala, and sorry you're not feeling the SW vibe right now. It comes and goes for most of us, so hanging around is probably a good thing
Welcome back lushlifesaver. Good luck with your target to lose by August, and you sound like you're in the right frame of mind to do it. Congratulations on the baby too!:T I'm carrying a fair bit of baby weight on me too..... the problem is I've been carrying it around for about 22 years!
Speaking of babies, my youngest baby boy (now 13) saw a picture of me on my wedding day yesterday and uttered the immortal line "Mother, what happened to you?! You were gorgeous, and SO slim!!" Way to go making me feel good about myself sonny :rotfl:
I told him I'd had 4 children, and over 10 years sleep deprivation, they were lucky I'd not been committed to an asylum by now.
What a weird day for weather it's been! OH and I went on a drive to fetch a motorbike for him this morning, and had a nice drive out on the Lincolnshire Wolds. It was beautiful when the sun shone, but shocking when it was torrential rain. We were both awake at stupid O'clock this morning - the clock said five something  Why do we always seem to do that at the weekend, when you don't have to get up, but come next week I'll be asleep until the alarm goes off?
Subsequently I'm feeling that grotty sleep deprivation, plus my cold is hanging around with the return of my sore throat (after 2 weeks!) and my body is craving energy foods. Trying hard to resist, but it's Eurovision night, and OH and I love watching that, so I've got to stay up til almost midnight. During Eurovision I think I'm going to allow myself a treat, as I've not had chocolate in so long.
Today's plan: EE
B - Total 0% split pot yogurt (2), banana
Snack - apple
L - Chicken, fries (5), ketchup (1)
D - WM toast HeB, spread (1), mullerlight
HeA - milk in tea/coffee
Total syns = 9, with 6 in reserve for some choccie.
Have a lovely weekend all.One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
It's only the this natural one that's free others have syns. Your drumsticks should be fine if you removed the skin.
Its 4 syns for 50 mls for port neat or with diet mixer. Enjoy!:D
Your menu looks fine to me meg, and you're right the stockpots are free. I'm assuming you're having syn free yogurt. Your HEA (Dairylea) and HEB (Ryvita) don't seem to be the full portion. Is there a reason for this or have I missed something?
MrsR, I don't spend anything like £100 a week to feed the two of us, probably closer to £50. That doesn't include wine syns or any meals out we have but it does include all cleaning stuff and basic toiletries. I think the problem may be because you have limited cooking facilities. I probably save by cooking from scratch and batch cooking HM ready meals and freezing portions of meat or anything else that I buy when YS or on offer. It does need a bit of shopping around but mainly Aldi and Sainsbury's and other shops when I'm near them (Farmfoods, Iceland, Asda, £ shops etc).
You've done well there meg. I like to have a good stock of easy meals in the freezer, then not tempted to get a take away. I'm going to make a big pot of red cabbage later.
Thanks Maman yes my yogurt is free, there appear to be more now on the lastest Syns on line.

The reason I am not having a full portion of cheese and crackers is that I wasnt really sure about the amount I can have, the Dairyleas are original not light, these were on offer at Asda and worked out half the price, so just thought I would have less.Slimming World at target0 -
Hi all.
Becks take care. Don't go away; keep in touch with us all here.
Shala, chin up. Thanks for keeping the chart.
Saturday's Menu
Breakfast: bacon, egg & tomato
Lunch: hexb sandwich filled with tuna & spring onion mayonnaise (1 syn) and baby leaf salad, an orange
Dinner: (we'll find out on Tuesday if this banking syns thing works), celebrating our team's win in the play offs :j  :T
less than half portion of chicken chasni and rice (8 syns), 4 onion rings (8 syns), 2 slices cheesy garlic bread (15 syns)
I've not had any snacks today.
Total so far 32
Bank Balance: 41 (tonight and 2 more days remaining)
I've not had hexa, so for supper I'll have milk and a banana, so no change there.
