I would advise against it Lantanna unless you are a prawn fan, I was livid as I paid £7.50 for the bag .

Poor you, macpep. I love prawns but generally only buy them ready cooked. It might have been the cooking or maybe they were off or you just reacted badly. Whatever the reason, hopefully your 'upset' will lead to weightloss. It's an ill wind....;)
I'm off to do food shopping in a bit and then I'll sort out some lunch alternatives. really missing the fact that no HM soup in the freezer and not even any LOs from last night's supper.:( I'll have the last banana and a few grapes to keep me going.
EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, baked beans
L: fruit?
D:HM burger, SW wedges, tomato, mushrooms, fried onions, peas
Syns: weekend wine0 -
Hi All
I have not been on the last few days, think I poisoned myself. I dont like prawns, had them once before & hated the texture, however decided to try the SW "Scampi" from a mag, hubby said they werent cooked as they were chewy (he is not a fan of them either) but they were in 20 mins (recipe stated 12-15) he didnt ea them, I left a few as I just dont' like them but as I had made them decided to eat them. Ended up being sick through the night numerous times & then started coming out the other end
. I will not eat them again, I have tried twice. First day back at work today on EE
B- Frozen Berries, natural yoghurt
L - Chicken in mayo, lettuce, cucumber, carrots, beetroot, peppers, kiwi, melon & strawberries
D - SW Chilli, rice & veg
Syns so far - 1 for milk in coffee, 1.5 for mayo & salad dressing
Drinks - 2 x coffees, 1 x green tea 750 ml water.
Lantanna - Well done on your fab loss :T
TIE - Hope the black dog leaves you soon, hugs x
Sorry to hear that - I love prawns. I suspect that the reason the prawns were chewy were that they were cooked for far too long. Raw prawns don't really need more than a few minutes to cook properly - as soon as they are pink all over they are cooked. I've never cooked them for more than about 10-12 minutes.

Hi everyone. Sorry, I haven't had time to check out this page for ages...
After 2 weeks of very small losses (1.5lb and 1lb) I decided to mix it up a bit and had a week of one day EE + 15 syns, one day EE no syns, one day success express, etc. Every day was different. Managed to lose 4lb! As you can imagine, I've decided to repeat again this week so we'll see how that goes!
So in 11 weeks I've lost 2st 3lb. From size 20 to size 16, with an ultimate goal of 11st and size 12 (I'm 5'6" tall). I've no idea if that weight/size is realistic as I can't remember ever being below 13st in my adult life :rotfl: We will see, when I get a bit nearer...DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244

Mildredd, the greatest loser is indeed the one who has lost the most in each group. If that person meets certain criteria then they can be put forward to regional and then countrywide finals to be crowned the greatest loser overall.
Lantanna, the thing you are talking about is the new campaign 'slim for good'. It's about raising money for charities and getting more people involved in weightloss for the overall good of the community.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Mildredd – one person takes on a challenge to lose weight over 6 weeks and gets sponsored for it for a charity of their choice. It was vaguely explained to us last night so I’m not sure if everybody does it and then the winner gets the money for the charity or if just one nominated person does it!!! It will probably never happen in our group lol. We had nominations for couple of the year a few weeks ago and that was never taken any further after that!!
In our class we have nominated one local charity. There are about 4 people in our class that are doing the challenge and then everyone else can sponsor them if they want and at the end of the 6 weeks the money will be given to our charity. there is a tracker chart in class where the people that are doing the challenge will record their weight loss.
I STS this week, think as I am only 8.5lbs away from target that I need to up the superfree and reduce my syns
