Stupidly thought ohh I will get on the scales this morning after breakfast even though my weigh in day is Wednesday. Gutted to be the same weight as last Wednesday. OH weighed himself to and had lost 3.5lb since last Wednesday. Totally gutted
Got back on my excerise bike tonight after being too busy for over a week. Amazing how a short time off it can set up back. Managed 5 km, I was doing 10 km per night but I will get back that by the end of next week. Also sent a good 2 hours walking today around a national trust property, up hills, down hills, pushing the pram over uneven ground. Every little helps! Hopefully.
Breakfast - 2 x wholemeal toast, 1 dairy lee light triangle, a grapefruit, hard boiled egg and shape 0% fat yoghurt.
Lunch - bernard matthew tikka turkey, apple, banana, 2 x dairy lee light triangles, shape 0 fat yoghurt
Tea - thai green curry, with turkey, peppers, onion, mushrooms, mange tout, peas and sweet corn. Served with rice that I added mixed frozen veg to to get some more super free in to meal.
heA - 4 x dairy lee light triangles
heB - 2 x wholemeal bread.
Syns- app said 4.5 syns for 90gm but it was only 70gms so I cam calling that 4 syns, 4 syns for coconut milk in curry. Milk in cuppas 2.5, tiny piece of chocolate from an easter egg 1. Total 11.5.
Going to have some more grapefruit (today was the first time I have had it in years and it was yummy) and an apple later as I am hungry. Add a mugshot to that.
ATE A CURLY WURLY! plus 6.5 syns. Total of 17. All the chocolate and the house was calling my name and I really wanted a bag of malteasers. Curly wurly was better option. Will have to claw back the syns tomorrow and go for an extra long walk plus my exercise bike.0 -
I've had a Red day today:
Breakfast - Mullerlight, banana
Lunch - Turkey, new potatoes(HEB) baby corn, carrots, green beans, stuffing(2 syns), gravy(3 syns), Apple.
Tea - Turkey and vegetable stir-fry, grapes.
Supper - 2 Alpen Light Bars(HEB), Highlights(2 syns) made with skimmed milk(HEA)
As a special Easter treat, I had 3 chocolates from my son's box. I've no idea of the syn value so will count them as 3 syns each. I really enjoyed them but sort of wish I hadn't had them as I'm craving more chocolate
now... That's the main reason I don't normally use my syns on sweet stuff as once I start I don't know when to stop.:D0 -
Evening all,
Busy day yesterday working, so didn't have a chance to post. Food was reasonably on plan, until I got home and there was nothing sorted for dinner for the family. Left to find something for us all from the freezer, I ended up having to have a small Pukka Pie, which is about 20 syns! Not ideal. Let's hope the fact I was stood all day long working will have helped burn off some of those excess syns.
Today has been better.
Plan : EE
B - shape yogurt, banana, apple
L - bacon, eggs, wm bread
D - Slow cooked beef, leeks, carrots, sw roasties, yorkshire 4.5, gravy 1.5
Snack - hm rock bun (no idea of syns, but at least 8-10) That was my easter treat though, as no chocolate for me this year. WI tomorrow morning, so will log the scores on the doors once back.
Shame the weather has been so dismal here, as not able to get out in the garden to do a bit of body magic. hey ho.
Welcome to all our new recruits, lovely to see some new faces here. Also wondering where our missing members are, like TIE said. Hope you pop your heads round the door from time to time. We do wonder how you're getting along generally, even if not doing SW anymore.
New week starts tomorrow, so let's make it a good one!One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -

Just adding myself to this thread here , will be joining a SW class on weds , it's a brand new one as well only 2 mins from my door . I did do SW in the early 90s / 2000s so I do need to refresh my self on the as and bs
I packed up smoking a few months ago and have put on a stone and a half , I've lost the half stone since feb but feel it's a bit too slow , hence trying this healthy eating plan .The original janiebaby0 -
I hope everyone has had a lovely easter weekend
Putting my head down now for this new challenge at least it will give me some motivation for summer as it seems like we won't be booking a holiday anytime soon. So fingers crossed we get a cheap deal and I'll be ready with a nice flat tum :rotfl: heres hoping
Anyone have special plans booked for summer? Where yous off? .... in desperate need of some inspiration0 -
Have 16 weeks till my hols and want to lose at least a stone by then. Yesterday I had tesco value honey nut cornflakes.... They don't count as an allowed cereal I don't think but all I have ATM. Then a shape yogurt pineapple and coconut which I can't find syn value of. Lunch was jacket with chicken and salad and coleslaw and a tsp of butter. Tea was chicken mash and 3 types of veg with a drizzle of gravy....totally lost on the syns I had though lolHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0
