discountmummy - I've popped you on the chart but you haven't given me a target to Easter weekend.. happy to leave you without a target if you don't want one though.
Thanks Shala_moo I will leave a target for now and join in with the next one once I have got into the swing of things:hello:"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing it doesn't go in a fruit salad0 -
Very quiet on here today, feel like I've scared you all off!!!
Macpep in regards to what your consultant said, and looking at your menu, I think it is a bit light. I hope you don't mind me saying. I think I would be ravenous by the time I got to the pasta bake at dinner and ready to murder someone!!! For example, today I've had slice of wholemeal toast with beans for breakfast, jacket potato with beans and salad for lunch, fruit and yog and I'm hungry now but trying to put my dinner off!! I know not everyone is the same, but do you think you would maybe benefit from having more jacket potatoes / rice / pasta with your meals to bulk them out a little?
PS no-one come near me after the amount of beans I have eaten today :rotfl:0 -
Good afternoon everyone!
It is quiet on here, I hope everyone is doing ok.
Apart from skipping breakfast today, I am doing ok. Its EE for me today:
B: coffee
L: jacket potato, ff cottage cheese, salad, peppers, pickles, cold chickensirloin steak, sw chips, mushroom, onion, wilted spinach
Snacks: alpen light (hexb), fruit, little malteser bunny thing (3 syns).
Hexa is milk in drinks.
I was saving my syns for a 5 syn chocolate cake this evening, but just got back from school run to find oh has eaten the whole lot! So, will rethink what to use them on after dinner.0 -

Think I'm going to just have to except the fact that I'm just not going to be as strict at the weekend as I can be during the week.
We are sooooo busy with football every weekend, training, matches & watching (all 3 children so A LOT of juggling) so although I was good not eating any junk food, the lack of superfrees could effect how quick this weight comes off.
I cannot recommend the 21 day matured steak from ALdi enough. It was mouth watering & was half the price of the other supermarkets. £3.70ish if my memory serves me correct.
When I get more time I'll post a list of some free foods at Iceland I found on the net. Not sure how up to date it is but it would be handy for me to have some freezer snack food in.
I'd suggest that you try saving your syns as much as possible and then you can afford to eat a bit of junk or have wine at the weekend.
Another idea is to have some Green days when you have a problem getting enough superfrees in as they aren't essential on Green and you're allowed an extra HEB and HEA. I find that most days I have a very small portion of meat so if I count that as a HEB it could be a Green day.
Obviously that's not going to work when you have your Aldi steak (I had one last Saturday and they're yummy). What I do is put some mushrooms and tomatoes in the oven for part of the time with the chips and fry off some onions to give me my SFs with steak.
Looking forward to the Iceland list. Don't worry if it's out of date as we can check values online.
My EE day:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, baked beans
L: 2 cold potatoes, chopped apple and a bit of (HEA) cheese i.e. fridge raiding.SW Bolognese and scrape of Parmesan
That looks a bit low on SFs so I'll snack on some more fruit later0 -
Had to sew my favourite gym trousers up as kept sliding down, so now have a little pleat but at least the public are safe from a view of my bum. Doesn't look great but I always wear long tops anyway and means can keep wearing them.
Bought new knickers too on Saturday but todays seem tighter than completely necessary.... clearly work to be done.
I have been adding my food onto MFP and keeping within 1200 calories (but using SW principles to guide) and finding it quite motivating. Particularly when I'm hungry I know not only that I can eat but that I should eat, as it recommends not dropping below 1200 and also to eat back what you burn.
Anyone who loves reading success stories (I find them so inspiring) should check out the MFP community forum. Also some great advice about "everything".
Think I have set everyone one off at ward, half the ward staff seem to have joined in.
Tuesday is music night so have managed to nip and have my 45 minutes in the gym. Did Zumba last night and booked aerobics for tomorrow night. Really feeling so much more energetic.
My stomach has definitely shrunk but remains hideous. But three months in and have lost every single week so far.
Apologies, do tend to lurk rather than post but I do read everyone's post and "thank" so you know I am interested.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Thanks maman. You're right you know! I'd love some extra HE's too. Will plan a menu & give a green day a go on Saturday & definitely save all my syns for the weekend as I can't be trusted to be good :snow_laug
We have the inlaws coming over Sunday. They had offered to take us out for a meal at Beefeater (MORE STEAK :j ) but alas ... football schedule is manic so I have offered to do a buffet. Cue hunt for SW buffet food for moi. So far I'm having a corn on the cob & some hm houmous! I apologise if it's a bit all over the place. A snipet has been copy & pasted & the rest has come from some hastily scribbled notes. A quick search of the net shows that these may have been free food at the end of 2012.

Just back from weigh in and it's
1 lb off please
I'm really please with that as it took me to my half stone and also my Easter Challenge target, woop! Though now I've started I'd like to loose another few lbs by Easter.
Been feeling sorry for myself today, I've had a cold for well over a week now, and it's been really making me very tired. On Friday I had to go to bed in the afternoon (I work from home) and again this afternoon I slept from 4 til 6.
To cap it all, I had a dodgy knee before Chtistmas, which I had physio on, it was loads better, I can even ski on it again (I go every week here in Norwich). But I went over on my ankle yesterday whilst gardening, and can barley walk on the knee today. So painful, I've had a bag of frozen peas on it most of the day, poor dogs haven't been very far, just a quick 10 mins shuffle!
Hoping to feel better very soon.
Had lots to say but it's gone completely out my headIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

While I'm lurking and Iceland has been mentioned
The posh grub ready meals/ chicken kievs etc are all under 4 syns for the pack ie 2 for a chicken Kiev/chicken tikka Kiev etc there's liver and onion gravy and stuff that's relatively low...
I didn't rate the cheese kiev I tried tbh but others like them at my group....
This week I gained 0.5lb no surprise really except shocked it wasn't more.
Have a time frame for surgery now and more medications.
The little rain cloud that's been fogging my head a little seems to be on the lift and its just drizzling at the mo instead of torrential downpours
Trying to get back on plan is hard though x
I am lurking still and here if anyone needs me lol
Hugs to anyone who wants them xxxStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Might as well post my plan for tomorrow while I'm here, just in case I don't get on tomorrow. Am hoping to go for a rummage around the charity shops in the morning if the weather is fair, further avoiding the housework that desperately needs doing. I'm just one of those people that has to be in the mood to do it. It doesn't come naturally! I also find it frustrating that I can spend the day doing it only to wake up & have it all to do again the next day!
D:Water, black coffee
B:Poached eggs, grilled bacon, baked beans, 2x small wholemeal loaf (HEB)
L:LO tomato, garlic, chilli & green bean pasta
T:Haven't decided but will include HEA or I'll have milk in tea & coffee. Might pick up something in Iceland! Really fancied the chinese stir fry dish (all free) on the SW site but I won't get in until gone 7 so not sure yet.
