LordDuke I got the Bronze package and used discount code 'health4life' for 15% off but now wish I'd gone for the Gold package instead. Discount code COOP0314 brings the price of the Gold package down more. I think both codes are still valid until today.

    Hi all
I utterly went off plan yesterday and got smashed last night.
Didn't go well yesterday I'm afraid.
I've just gone for a walk to try and clear the mess in my head but will post later as I'm quite upset at the moment :(

I hope you're OK too MrsR. Let us know how you feel after the walk.:)

Feeling much more positive this week now that I've dome a big shop and have a meal plan but I have two meals out in the diary for this week. Everything around them will be fine though so I'll just keep plodding.;)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, fried egg
L: LO beef casserole with veg
D: cold gammon, cauli & broccoli cheese, some potatoes (SWchips? new potatoes?)
Syns: squirt of HP, cheese sauce (some offset by HEA). I'm ignoring the bit of casserole sauce as it would have been in yesterday's syns if I'd been more greedy!

Welshkitty – A sts the same is good – your no worse off and will see a bigger loss next week J

Thanks for the words of encouragement. :) I am feeling much more positive today. I have a mountain of work to get through over the next week or so, but have decided to take 15 minutes each morning to have my cup of coffee and plan the day ahead - this includes meal planning, as well as setting myself realistic targets in terms of what work needs to get done when.

Started this morning with wholemeal toast (hexb1) and light cheese triangles (1/2 hexb 2). Lunch will be left overs from last night  (about 8 syns I think??) with boiled rice. Not sure exactly what I am having this evening, but it will be syn free and based around potatoes. Hexa 1 will be milk in drinks. May possibly use rest of hexb2 and my hexa2 allowance with my potato dish.

That's a good plan for this week kitty, but I'm sure you'd find it easier if next weekend you could do a plan for a week. I find it takes me about 10 minutes working from my inventory of freezers and anything left in veg drawer/fridge. If you have a mixture of things from the freezer/cupboard as well as fresh stuff then you can swap them around for days when you're really busy or CBA. So, for example, I'm making HM cauli cheese tonight as I've got time but tomorrow I'm out so we'll have Bolognese from the freezer. I really find meal planning (as well as the SW benefits) saves me time as it means I don't need to think in the week about what we're having, can do just one quick shop without dithering, and no popping in for a few bits here and there. Very mse too!;)

I always think planning is the number one best tip for making SW work.

P.S. Sorry if that comes over a bit preachy, don't mean it to be. I'm just a convert.:o

Afternoon all.. failing miserably at this challenge so i've took myself off it  i'm rubbish if i set myself a target. i just seem to lose then gain the same lbs!

You lot are doing fabulously though :j:j

Sorry i probably should have started by telling you all how good you are instead of moaning how rubbish i am :rotfl:

Well done on the losses and STS's.. :T sorry for rubbish OH's and hope everyone's had a good start to the week.

Lordduke - welcome, if you have any questions then just let us know - there'll be someone who can help. You could also have a quick read of the info in post 2 which may be helpful.

I've no idea what day i'm having today as i don't know what OH is cooking for tea..

So far i've had a banana, apple, pulled pork and rice and some crisps(4) so i guess i could do an EE.. i have an emergency mullerlight in the fridge for later if i need it.

    xx

Thank for the advice. Not preachy at all. I usually do meal plan, then do a strict shopping list and buy only whats on the list. It's just all gone wrong the last week or so. I have 5 assignments due within the next fortnight and I have just gone into panic mode about getting them done in time, so everything else has gone out the window. Thankfully, once this lot are done I have no more until September, so if I can just plod on through the next week or so, everything should get easier.
