Jockett well done on the weight loss hope DD feels a bit better soon my DD1 was sick for about 2 weeks every day after we came home think she picked up a bug out there
well another parent has sent out letters for an end of term do the day after us wanting £20 for a chinese meal on a fri night at a place where there are night clubs and bars so DD wont be going we have arranged a limo £22 and tickets to adventure island fun park £10 the limo ride is about 50 mins each way so we thought it was quite a good deal just a bit peeved that this person decided to send the notes out the day after us never mind the people saying yes so far are a good crowd

Haven't been on the daily for ages

The sun is shining - typical, seeing as I don't have to go out on my bike today :rolleyes: We're bored with the shops in Glos, so might go to Weston today to do our shopping

My weight loss has not been happening, and I've just realised why. I've been soooo good that I've not been eating enough :rolleyes: This has made my body go 'she's starving me, better hold on to every pound' lol. I KNOW this happens but didn't realise that I was eating so little - it didn't seem like too little, I've been eating regularly and not been left feeling hungry, I just think too much of my food was fruit so not many cals.

My hours at work are down to 10 per week :T Hoping to get it down to 8 hours next week. I've had more time to make and sell cards, and I've just found out that my friend is taking over a stall in the indoor market so I shall [strike]force her to stock my stuff[/strike] ask her nicely if she'd like a small card stand, on a sale or return basis

Well, none of that was OS so I'm going now, lol.

Another wet day here in Derbyshire, expecting more rain and given warnings again for flooding over the wk end. After the horrendous flooding on Monday, we had a fire in town, Sommerfield was set on fire, causing chaos, and buildings to collapse. What ever next!

Had text this morning from babysitters mum, she started bad with labour pains now, so its probably a matter of hours before he arrives!

I found out last night, after getting my dates wrong, that DS has a day's visit to his senior school on Tuesday (i thought it was weds) so it means he cant go to the funeral, however, I will write to his head teacher, and see if he can go another day! I dont want him to miss the funeral, but he also needs this day's visit!

Sky tv wasn't working at all yesterday. Gutted that I nearly missed BB last night, but OH somehow managed to tune the tv into the normal channels. We have a very poor aerial/signal in this area. Was able to squint through the snowy screen! Will see how Sky is later before I start making calls to them!

Goodmorning everyone,

Got Benny his hair cut today. He looks much better now. Made a pot of soup after lunch & am having leftovers for tea. Still really windy & cold here again.
Finally unpacked everything. DH still not great but each day is getting a bit better. I think I'll be able to give him my *to do* list by Sunday.

good morning to everyone, too many to mention already :hello:

its my mum's birthday today (and mine). off out for lunch with OH and a spot of shopping before we pick up DD from her school trip. need to buy a lamp to finish off her room. its looking really good. managed to get a bargain duvet cover (was last one in shop and was on display so they gave me 33% off). she will be so surprised when she gets back.

will be doing a joint birthday on sunday with son who's birthday is next week.
