The only exercise I can do safely at the moment due to hip/back pain is swim, I had to give up walking more than 10 mins at a time about 6 weeks ago when back issues got worse. Now 38 weeks and manage a 40 length swim once a week would prob swim more often if I could get time alone without 2 year old.

I hope AP Is ok have been thinking of her.

Lots of Brixton hicks here which I find exciting as I didn't get any till after due date with my first, they are very frequent so am hoping they will move to contractions within the next few weeks.

Hi clumsy_cupcake and welcome. Have added you to the list! Is your daughter excited? Mine is 4 and is looking forward to it although i fear she might find her a bit boring when she is here. Hope you feel a bit better soon.

Jedi - i never got braxton hicks last time but think i have had a few this time.

Could someone add me to the list please? Ive no idea how to do it lol

Re: Braxton Hicks - ive never had any despite my 2 previous pregnancies going well overdue, maybe this is why I ended up with C-sections?
My youngest daughter is 3 and is super excited too, she is insisting baby sleeps in her room and keeps dragging the moses basket in there and setting it up next to her bed - im sure she will change her mind when baby is here!xx
Due 26th July, team yellow :D

Haha missy my 2 and a half year old has similar ideas and says he wants baby to sleep with him lol no chance, I am worried that baby being in our room might still be too loud and wake him, will have to wait and see.

Thinking about AP and hoping she is ok.

same here ! I can't keep my 2.5 year old DD1 out of the Moses basket despite her being far to big for it and she seems to want to sleep in there with the new arrival !

No Braxton Hicks here either but DD1 was an early c-section so possibly not to be expected and with just over two weeks to go nothing this time around either - I almost wish they would so that I knew something was moving in the right direction !

C-Section still scheduled for the 12th unless the consultant feels that I'm fully engaged next Thursday and that induction might work. Fingers crossed !

Last day at work today:T at last, I'd like to say I'm looking forwards to a quiet day of lazing around tomorrow but I really have to get my hospital bags packed, the nursery set up and boring things like car and house insurance organised as both are due 1 week after my due date !

Hope everyone is well and looking forwards to another long weekend :D

    Hi ladies.
I have been a bit quite as nothing really to report.

    Thinking of you AP.

My due date is tomorrow and I am booked for induction at 10am due to gtt. I have been desperately hoping lo would come early and naturally. But had 2 failed sweeps as cervix not yet ready. Been really trying to avoid induction and negotiate date. But, i have turned a corner mentally and decided to be more positive. I am having an acupuncture induction tonight that may get things going but if not, the hospital induction means I get to see my baby by the weekend. And 1-5-15 would be a lovely birth date :-)

Having a day of freezer baking today. Lasagne and chicken pie. Yum. Then tonight going to take hubby out for steak at pub before acupuncture. Be our last night out for a while :-)

Lots of reading material though, just in case the induction doesn't work so quickly ! I expected mine to happen instantaniously last time around and it took a few days
