Did anyone buy this? I put an order for Wednesday delivery but it said that the offer would not be valid with this as it was after the 29th. However it let me get a delivery slot for the 30th (tomorrow when I "purchased" last night) - however in the email there is this note: ...

The guide price is based on today's prices instore. However as we shop for your order on the day you want it delivered, some of the prices may have changed.

So does that mean that tomorrow this won't apply? Not happy with it. :mad:

Hello all,

Sorry for being so quiet lately. After a manic week my house purchase completed so we are finally home owners. Spent the weekend sorting out my new place. Parents are coming over Easter to help us decorate the nursery. So much still to do and I have no energy. I feel huge and I have swollen hands and feet. I am also in agony with my hips. Physio really helps but next appointment is not for another 3 weeks. Feeling a bit fed up.

I hope you are all doing well. Welcome to the newbies also.

I've now finished my second maternity week. Been able to keep busy enough without over doing it. But don't have too much planned for this week, running out of things to do but at least it's easter next weekend so only have to distract myself for 4 days!

Still hoping baby comes very soon though and doesn't get any bigger. Been bouncing on my birthing ball a lot, rubbing in aromatherapy oils.

I've been getting braxten hicks and back pains quite a bit for the last few days but they never develop Into anything and just fade off.

So I wait wait wait.

How is everyone doing?

I'm the same milly, just waiting. I asked my husband when the baby was going to come, it's the not knowing that's worse! I've got a consultants appointment Wednesday where they're going to do another growth scan & possible decide about inducing. I'm not keen, especially over the long bank holiday weekend, I know how many less staff are about then as I work in the hospital I'll be delivering in. 39 weeks in Wednesday & can't believe how the ladt few weeks have flown by.

Hoping something starts soon, I've had lots of backache & BH but notbing more yet!!

I'm feeling quite excited this morning, not quite 37 weeks by my "official" date, but I would be by the date I got from the last scan, so not long to go now (how raging am I going to be when I'm still here in 5 weeks?!) I have actually started packing my hospital bag. I got a cheap nightdress that I intended to wear in labour, but it's actualy very comfy and quite pretty and I don't want to ruin it! Might just see if OH has an old t-shirt he'll donate for the event and keep the nightdress for after the birth.

OH ate a sausage roll on saturday and spent the whole day complaining he had heartburn. It took a lot of willpower not to kick him :rotfl:

My consultant told me last week after my last growth scan that they really dont like to induce large babies. I think my consultant will push for a c section before inducing. I'll be interested to see what your consultant says.

Apparently, complications are quite high when you induce a large baby. I have two sweeps booked in, one a week today and one in 2 weeks. If they don't work and I go any further, consultant will probably suggest c section. so I'm doing all I can to help move things along!

Hi all, a quick one from me as I now have my gorgeous little boy who happily takes all of my time I've been posting on the FB group as its easier on my phone than here, so sorry for abandoning you all!


Our beautiful boy was born on Thursday via emergency C-section after a failed induction (which as you know started on Monday!) and foetal distress. As soon as he was out though he was absolutely fine and is currently doing really well now we're both home. I'm recovering well too and am finding myself more active and mobile than I thought I would be, although I have to keep reminding myself to rest and take it easy


Thank you all for your support, it's been great sharing our pregnancies so I'll be popping back as and when little man gives me a chance to see how you are all getting on. Good luck!! xx

Well 38 week apt was interesting, another new midwife who managed to log all my details on someone else on the computer and then booked my 40 weeks apt for 41 weeks. Sugars were fine so not looking at inducing unless I go over but bit confused about getting different info from different midwives. Last one said they'd offer a sweep now and then another at 40 weeks then every 3 days until 41 weeks when they'd look at inducing but this one today has said sweep at 41 weeks and I'd be almost 43 weeks by induction? Baby is 2/5 tho so hopefully walking lots and being on my ball this week will get her down the last bit and hopefully out within the next 2 weeks, I don't mind going over by 2 weeks but definitely not almost 3 after what we were told at ante natal plus this baby is crippling me atm. Hope everyone else is ok xxx
