COngratulations, Luella! Do you have names yet?

I had a VBAC (vaginal birth after Casesarian) appt today, which involved a great deal of hanging about for no particular reason, as hospital appts often do. The upshot is that they're happy for me to have a VBAC, and go overdue for up to a week, providing the baby's head doesn't get too big.

Got a growth scan tomorrow to see about that head! Mine's big, OH's is big, Isaac's is big, so I'm hoping it won't throw a spanner in the VBAC works.
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

I had quite a few BH.

My tummy would go hard all over. Whereas normally the left side was squishy and right side hard where the baby was.

It didn't hurt or feel like period pain for me. A bit uncomfortable if I was lying down so I'd move position & it would tend to stop.

Morning ladies, a quick update to say that our beautiful baby girl was born in the early hours of mothers day. Ill post more when I get the chance but she is currently in neonatal care after swallowing a lot of meconium, leading to problems with her lungs. Staff are great and Pheobe is a little fighter. X

Congratulations! Hope Pheobe is out very soon :)

neverdespairgirl - hope the scan goes well - I really want another..... :)

    MrsMuffin - welcome!

I didn't have braxton hicks with my DS but this time everything has come earlier. I leak milk quite a lot but didn't with DS either.

I am counting down the days - 5 working days left in work :) - my replacement cover arrived yesterday and is very knowledgable which is great and she just wants to get on with her job so that is good.

Congrats Siljou - hope Phoebe is feeling better soon xx

We have been away for the weekend - just what we needed after a stressful couple of weeks with the redundancy news etc.
SamToby - my last working day (due to redundancy) is this Thursday! Im going straight onto SMP then...to be honest I cant wait as I have been struggling a bit lately :( I have a catalogue of complaints! Can tell Im older in this pregnancy. Still not much of a bump but have got a very sore back which has locked up a couple of times, feels like a nerve is being hit & the iron tablets are making me very nausaus if not physically sick.
No Braxton Hicks here yet - cant really remember having them in my 2 previous pregnancies either.... We will see!

At least finishing Thursday I can actually try to get on with stuff - similar to you Sam Toby....I need to investigate the mattress situation as well!x

Oh - and Ive read back but cant see any updates from Mysecretalias?? Hope you are ok xx

sophiasmum I noticed that the other day and realised her last post she was feeling a bit stressed with the thread - so hopefully she's okay just having a break.

Including today I have 7 working days left :)
Not returning to work until 1st April 2015
  • all the children I look after seem to have chickenpox :(

iv read up on it and it said if you've already had it when you were younger then you are immune, which I did, but when you read the potential complications to the baby if you get it, it's really scary.

think I'll ring the numbers off my green notes and see if I can get some advice about whether I need to stay away or not. I'm really worried :-/
