    Does anyone know if Lidl has trollies that will accommodate an infant and a toddler at the same time? If they do, I might try and brave it next week. Maybe.

    Our local Lidl doesn't - the trollies only have space for one toddler. ;) Not sure if other areas are different?

    Ah well... that's that then. And it's not as if they deliver, either.

    Is there anyone on here who has similar issues i.e. more than one littlie to take shopping? How do other people do it? I feel as if I'm shackled to Mr T!

    Curv in my area there are no double trollies in Lidl either.

    Bought a top up of milk yesterday so there is that to add to my total, I seen a dietician yesterday and have meal plan ideas from there but determined to use up what I have in first and adapt it, considering one of the suggestions are 'ready meals' ewww no thanks would rather make it myself!
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    My cousin has two with about a year between them and when the youngest was small enough she'd use one of the baby carriers so have the baby strapped on her front and put the other kiddie in the trolley. Not easy though. :o

    I'm in. I kept a log in the last week of June to see how we were doing. We spent £48.60 on groceries but didn't have a big tesco order so my targets for July are:
    £120 on tesco orders
    £80 on local shopping (£200 total)

    I do my weeks beginning on saturday as thats when we 'shop' for the week ahead.

    So far from Sat 30th June;
    £33.90 at market and local shops
    Big tesco order £118 (inc del) - used £15 off voucher +BOGOFFS total bill = £99.12 yay

    that should hopefully feed us all for this month with just a few 'top ups' of milk/fresh F&V.
    I'm away for a week this month and get all my meals so that will either reduce it - one less mouth to feed or increase it - OH at home with DS and therefore likely to buy stuff.

    Still doing well this month spent £208.68 out of budget of £318 so far, going to see if £10 off £25 spend at Tescos code is still ok to use later and apart from that order well stocked up plenty of meat washing powder etc just need to go back to meal plans which I have got out of the last couple of weeks to anyone that doesnt meal plan it really does save you money, DD and her bf made really nice pizzas for tea last night they looked very impressive apart from cheap tin of choppped tomatoes 3 cups of strong flour, yeast it was mainly leftovers it kept them busy for a while and they both enjoyed it.
    DD is going on holdiay with school on sat for a week so that will save me money!

    I've spent a bit more than I'd hoped. Spent £120 so far. But have a £20 off voucher for Sainsbury so am hoping that the rest of the month will be ok.
