That's what happened with the paperwork ....Jazee I'm not taking my little girl out for a walk either - DD had to almost pick her up and chuck her out the front door to go for a wee!! Needless to say she's snuggled up in her basket now with her nose firmly tucked into her tail like a little mouse :A
) and his lead on, got all my outdoor gear on, which takes an age, got him out the front door - he took one look at the rain, which was larraping down, tiddled against the side of the carport, and stomped firmly back to the front door. "I'm not going out in that, you gotta be joking" - he couldn't have said it plainer if he'd spoken English!:rotfl:

I'm fine - not really a back problem as such, just a weak spot - lower back tends to go into spasm when I stay down on the floor for too long. (just don't do it!)
WM load of towels and hankies done - all had to be put on A-frames over the bath. But the red hair dye is all washed out of the towels now :T. Airing cupboard emptied of Mr LW's clothes that went in there yesterday - they're on the bed for him to put away tonight.
@ld! shop done last night; got two - yes, twobottles of champagne; one for Valentines Night (can't go out as Jessie will be staying and I don't have the dogs here just to leave them sat on their own
) and another to put by for Ostara (20th March). We decided to get them while they were available, as they often sell out.:o It's also the Full Moon on Friday, so we'd have a bottle of wine for that normally, but Mr LW decided we'd have champagne. Just need to decide on something nice for dins that night - I was going to do pizza, but maybe I should do something a little more special.:o
Tonight is veg stew - Mr LW has prepped the veggies, I just need to make some dumplings.;)
I'm ashamed to say I have zero interest in the winter Olympics; I'm afraid I'm just not into sport of any kind.:cool:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Thanks LW for your suggestion - I do that already and I also use an "iron full of water" to time my ironing! That is better now am washing more frequently and drying it on the airer as it is sort of self timing.
Coping much better since finished work and actually moving through the day rather than chained to the desk!!!!
Any other suggestions gratefully received please.July 16 £95/£200

No wonder none of the birds were eating anything from the seed feeders - they were all full of grot. Can anyone suggest a seedfeeder that doesn't fill up with mould or sprouting seed every time it rains? Poor little things are starving.
Tidying, more stuff to the CS, dog walked up on the Hoe where it is sunny, cold and windy, which makes a nice change from grey, raining, cold and windy.Better is good enough.0 -

I find hanging from a door frame helps to straighten me up! Or if you can't reach that high, just "walk" your hands up a door jamb or the outside corner where 2 walls meet (eg the front of a chimney breast or exterior corner of the house) and aim for the highest spot you can reach with both hands. Hold for three seconds and then relax. Next time, increase the height and the length of the hold, if you can. Don't try it on an inside corner, such as the inside corner of a room, or you won't have space to spread your wings, Flyladies!0 -
