  • Ahh Dusty I am loving todays list! A man is coming to fit a new electricity meter today. The meter is in a kitchen cupboard, but one thats only used for storing things that dont get used very often. It has to be emptied of course.

So flyladies why have I so many paper plates, plastic cups, plastic cutlery, paper napkins etc??? I dont remember buying them all. Maybe I should throw a party to use them up.

After a manic few days at work and not much of a weekend I am going to take it steady this afternoon (and we will have no electricity anyway). Mind you every time I say that something goes pear shaped ...

Can only fly a little bit this morning as am out at paid work from 10-12. Can't decide whether to catch up or go frog eating (replacing light bulbs - not my favourite job!) first.

Natty: Bit late, but many happy returns!

    I'm in today

DS2 is home poorly. He has a lot of flem which is making him feel sick. He got too hot on the school bus last night and ruined the hall mat and was sick in his school trainers. I'm going to see if I can save them by putting them in the WM so hope it doesn't break.

WM is on. I'm very lazy this week.

    Gentle hugs to mummyyof5 x

Thanks so much for today's catch up list as with the paid work over the weekend and til yesterday, there wasn't much time for flying. I've kept the worst at bay but the downstairs rooms have been taken over by stuff in the wrong places, and everywhere needs something. But apart from a cake to decorate and a tingy bit of admin and trip to the post office, I have no immediate other distractions.

I have been so moved with all your posts - so sorry to hear of illnesses and troubles, and well done to all those who made it to Doctors or dealt with big fat work frogs; I think you're all marvellous.

Posting list later - off to declutter dawdling child to school.

With thanks to Rebecca, for saying it all. Bossy, words fail me totally regarding your DH's extended family's health. The news must be crushing.

Sorry Deco, that was rude of me - I should have replied. That all sounds very sensible, as do you. Onward and upward, as they say!

I think it must be the weather - I'm finding it almost impossible to post. Very *meh*. They sky is so grey, the wind and the rain .... Huge hugs to everyone affected by the weather, and particularly those having to work in it. I'm going to complete today's list because that will make me feel better and then start researching something.
    Better is good enough.
