    Girls weren't tidying so.. binbags it was..

    Moomin has filled a binbag and Tiddles ran about screeching putting all her stuff away and when she started flagging I got out the industrial vacuum cleaner.. wow she can shift!!! lol..

    There is a fair bit of visible floor which is amazing.. and the littlies are now pounding about on the naked floor.. :) I can now get to the drawers to sort those out.. but that may be a tomorrow job!

    Marvellous what can be achieved in half an hour when fuelled by wine gums!

    2 lots more washing in and the rest of the towels out.. I'll bring them in shortly so they can air on the airers :p ..

    Off to finish dinner now.. gammon should be cooked.. so pasta for OH and oven potato crap for the children.

    Tesco delivery tomorrow.. at some point.. might have to check the timings :p

    I usually cut slab cake into slices before freezing - it's quicker to defrost and you only take out exactly what you need. Separate the slices with greaseproof / non-stick paper or wrap slices individually in clingfilm. Make sure they are well wrapped or they will dry out (but you can always use them for pudding, heated in the microwave and served with packet custard if you are short of time!)

    Shower room sparkley, bottom layer dy$oned, one bed changed, one load finished off in the TD. Doesn't sound like much but it took a couple of hours.
    Better is good enough.

    Lemonie, hope you got the sewer unblocked.
    CY - Hope the flat clearing went ok. When DS need help with his, we were on our silver wedding weekend away thankfully.

    Another one here who has made the most of the yellow ball in the sky. It is called 'THE SUN' and you take your hat off so you can benefit from the Vitamin D in the rays or something like that.

    Today I have:

    Walked the dogs twice
    Bathed the dogs
    Made a delicious Sunday roast even if I do say so myself
    Tidied the front garden and planted some veg seeds

    It doesn't look a lot written down but I ache so I must have done something.

    Day out with DH and DS tomorrow.

    Have a great evening everyone.
    Spend less now, work less later.
  • DS's house cleaning was stressful. I have never seen such a pit!

    I will be going back for all of tomorrow, sadly.....

    Oh yuck, CY.

    I remember visiting my brother at uni OMG there were no curtains at his bedroom window so he stacked empty beer cans instead :shocked::shocked::shocked:
    Needless to say we didn't stay for coffee :eek:

    So I'm sat indoors, alone, waiting for [Strike]mr right[/strike] mr s :rotfl: I've just changed 2 beds, the other was done yesterday morning.

    Kitchen is tidy, I am fed, there is no milk for a cuppa :( and I have no wine either.

    I'm bored.

    Hi everyone, here is what I've done over the weekend:

    * Polished
    * Cleaned, tidied and de-cluttered around the house
    * Hoovered the entire house
    * Around 4 loads of washing done

    My OH is off 3 days this week so bedding will be changed, floors steamed and bathroom will be deep cleaned.
