My DD is at Coventry and very impressed with it as a uni and accommodation/ pastoral care. Any questions please pm me x

Thanks for that Molly - they have 'clinched' it for me with the organisation of the Open Day we went to back in November - it was so well organised that I came to the conclusion that they must organise their courses equally well!

Plus it's in relatively easy travelling distance.

Cleaning has commenced. DD's posh frock is about to go on the line. Cat litter tray has been washed as has the bin. Oven bottom scraped and cleaned (not perfect but better now). DW emptied and hob accessories washed. I am about to clean the kitchen.

    Morning!

    Just having :coffee:
Have sorted the disaaaaster of a kitchen :D much better now. Going out in an hour and a half for lunch then to drop littlies with inlaws. Need to be home before 7 for my sainsbobs delivery.

Kids have been bathed and tattooed and nails painted :rotfl: you can tell its half term. DS has a pirate ship tattoo and orange nails with black stripes, he's also wearing his tiger onesie and doing rather a lot of growling. DD has glitter tattoos and nails and is dancing (again).

So you can see we are all happy here :D

I will be making DS put all his cars away before we go out...

    Amazing!
I have a feeling a tiger onesie would make me feel better haha

  • DD2 is rushing to get ready - going out with B/f and his mum and g/parents as an early celebration of his 21st.

Unfortunately his f/b status would imply he had a bit too much to drink last night. This could be interesting.

I am having a spot of lunch. I have volunteered to help DS clean out the house they rented before the keys go back on Tuesday. Not looking forward to it - even he admits it is a pit!

    Hello,

I haven't been posting this week, but I have been doing little bits of flying. DD has gone off on a school trip so I spent the early part of the week packing. The house is quiet now though (and cleanish) Heres what I'd like to achieve today....

    Kitchen and Dining Room
Dust the light fitting of cobwebs
    Sort the hotspot :o
    Bathroom
    S/S loos and sinks
Get the Teen to clear the pile of clothes he has deposited on the floor
    Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Clear the coffee table, wipe it over
Wipe any marks off the wall by the stairs
Sort out your handbag and purse
    Bedrooms
Put away all clothes & tidy
    Extras
Take anything you are getting rid of to the charity shop/recycling/tip/friends etc or at least work out exactly when you can get this done
List 40 items on ebay (some will be easy relists)
    HHI x2
    HH filing/paperwork/shredding
10lb to lose & keep off in 20204.5lb/10lb:rotfl:

Well done on the petrol prices, they can vary but loads.
Even the same brand of petrol, a few hundred yards apart.... Mr LW was going to fill up at the bee pee garage on the way home from Central MK yesterday, at £1.29 per litre, til I told him the one he normally uses, just a little way from our house, also bee pee, was £1.26 per litre.

Question: Does anyone know what that weird yellow thing up in the sky is?:D Jessie and I had a lovely walk this morning; I was able to let her take all the time she wanted to sniff around, as we weren't getting drenched; and we met a sweet little Yorkie cross, so she made a new friend.:o

  • I am not a gardener. But the sun was out and since moving in kid nov ive probablt stepped in back garden 3 times. So have spent an hour or so digging up old dead plants and chucking out rubbish. Removing the plethora of dangerous wires from round horrid pond. Once good weather will start clearing stones bailing water and filling it in. Dh will eventually build decking but we have a lot of more
Pressing jobs to spend on first.

So lovely to be in the garden.

DH has fixed the fence and the playhouse roof.

I'm working on the long border in the front garden, it is huge so not a single day job but it is looking tidier, pruning roses as well.
