Don't forget the mse collection app is great for bargains also!
I could buy tops etc from ebay, but trousers I really have to try on because I'm a very odd shape. It is very annoyingOne lady was selling loads of maternity stuff in my size on the local facebook buy/sell page so I went along to try some of it on. She had about six pairs of trousers and jeans in my size, and only one sort of fit me (but they don't stay up, grrr).

Maternity leggings are my favourite with a dress/long top. Second is dresses. Finally I am also wearing skirts. I agree - the mat trousers I have got are blooming useless. Seem to fit at first but fall down during the day :rotfl:Met DH to be 2010

Well I woke up fretting about my 20 week scan at 10:30am, but the baby has been positively bouncing around all morning and practicing his kung fu moves I think, so I feel a bit better now that I at least know he's still in there0

Well I'm back and everything is as good as it can be
We are still firmly team yellow, by choice.
The sonographer was lovely and gave us a running commentary throughout the whole scan, she didn't go quiet at all, and there was a screen for her and another for us so we could see everything. She got a great close up photo of the baby yawning which looks like I'm gestating a dinosaur, it's hilarious, and we were only supposed to get 4 photos but actually got 8, all very clear and quite different. There's a gorgeous one of his little foot.
The baby put on a bit of a show for us and fidgeted the whole time and booted me several times right under the belly button, quite a contrast to last time when he refused to wake up
There have been a few ladies on this thread who had not very nice scan experiences, but I must say mine was absolutely lovely and memorable for all the right reasons, what a shame they're not all like this.0 -
hi everyone! Sorry not been around, I was away with work all week and I am totally knackered now. Just trying to survive the day at work as best I can!
Love - thanks for the info, glad its not just me that gets all the special treatment. I feel great that they are keeping an extra eye on things. Hope you are doing good!
RMR - congrats on team pink! Glad everything was ok at the scan.
Freebie - congrats on team blue! Same about the scan, so pleased it went well!
Angel - great about your scan too! We are also team yellow. my experience of the scan was lovely too, it really is a shame that some people get grumpy folk.
Tink - yeah on team blue for you! you must be so pleased to have made it to this point and hopefully everything will be plain sailing til your wee boy arrives!
Welcome and congrats to all the new people!
AFM - I am 24 weeks today! Woo hoo! So, I will move on up to the last pg thread (eekk!) and will see all you lovely ladies soon as you are not far behind at all! Ali - you will be next! I think that Monty has moved on too so I'll take her off the list if no-one minds.
hugs ladies, its been a blast sharing all this with you! xxxx0 -

Thanks for updating the list Sewit and yep I'll be right behind you as I'm 24 weeks on Sunday.
Glad your scan went well Angel, just wondering if you're thinking that you're having a boy as you kept putting He in your post lol
Stop telling me about the lovely heartbeatsjust over a week to go until I hear our baby girls.
I'm loving my over the bump maternity trousers. I've got 2 pairs of jeans and a pair of crop jeans all from Peacocks and the fit is fantastic. My friend lent me two pairs of work pants that adjust in the waist and are a pain in the butt in falling down but I just tighten them up. She also lent me about 5 pairs of under bump jeans but they're a size bigger than I wear and just fall straight off me however I'll hang on to them for when I'm bigger.
Thanks for all the sales updates freebie I keep looking but never find anything I like :rotfl:
Weirdest thing in the world the last couple of days, I've woken up to a solid bum or head shaped lump next to my ribs. It's so fantastic and strange at the same time and typically hubby is always in the other room and she's moved by the time he comes inDEBTS ARE BEING DEALT WITH AS BEST WE CAN:heart: Married my prince on 27/08/2011Baby Girl born 21/10/14:D:D:D:D

Ali I've no idea, actually I would lean more towards girl than boy, but just don't like saying "it" so have defaulted to "he" if you see what I mean0

Ladies - my wife is due in December and I want to do something to make her feel special. I would appreciate anything you think you would love your OH to do/give you to give me some ideas as to how I can help her out.0
