Just thrown up again, bloomin' constipation, I'm off to the specialist hospital next week and will mention it to them and see if I'm right and what I can do other than the lactulose.
I had to move the contents of my desk today, and bring my triffid plant home, tummy muscles are aching because no one offered to help me move stuff, other than the pc which ict had to move. I've also moved to an even smaller desk with barely enough space for me to actually have any paperwork on it to do some work. To say I ended up grumpy is an understatement. also was another set to about windows being shut when it was freezing inside the office, to say that today I could have just sat and cried with even one gram extra provocation is an understatement!
Hmm the end result will be worth it but it's a blooming long hard slog.
I continue to need the loo twice a day. Not diarrhoea so not complaining but been a week now so it is odd what the body goes through. I have already disengaged from my boobs as they don't feel or like like mine anymore. Gues they are for the baby already!
Why are you moving desks and why is it smaller?
On hold to Tesco who 'really want to talk to me.' Were calling while I was away in Barcelona and only just got round to calling them back. Better be worth it.
DH is now trying to work out how to stop the angry man and other tenants next door putting their rubbish in our recycling bin so that they don't stuff it up like they have with their own, meaning it doesn't get emptied. Bin day was Tuesday and all 3 of their bins were full and couldn't shut the lid pre bin day and the binmen refused to empty on Tuesday. StinksMet DH to be 2010

Sorry not been on for a while.
Thanks for all your nice messages about my nan. We had the funeral which was awful. She had however before she died knitted some items and had also done a card which I'm to open once baby is born! It's a mixed bitter sweet.
Anyway I'm 25+5 today so need to move onto next thread (scary). Hope to see you all there soon! Good luck ladies.xxx0 -
Aww Disney that was so thoughtful of her. I hope they bring you some comfort. Good luck on the next thread
As for me, had a great morning then had to go to a lunch meeting and presentation. Managed to get a crumb stuck in my throat which nothing would move and I took a coughing fit in the meeting. It soon passed but then I realised it was going to start again and I had to leave as I was actually going to be sick with it. Thankfully I avoided that part but I looked dreadful when I went back in. The rest of the day I felt awful with a really sore head and now I'm lying on the sofa with my feet up like the midwife told me to as the ankles are even worse today than yesterday. Hoping this passes before holiday time.....

Good luck Disney
that is so sweet of your nan though as you say also very emotional. Take care xx
I am another who has not really enjoyed pregnancy so far. I was sick as a dog for weeks and weeks (still throwing up probably once a day even now at 19 weeks) and as soon as that started to ease, the bleeding and all the associated worry kicked in. Like you lilmiss, I am having to go to the toilet more often than I used to pre pregnancy, which is annoying. It used to be a good one at 5.30am every day like clockwork and that was that! Now it is like a free for all, I never know when it will beI have yet to experience any sort of pregnancy bloom. My skin is horrendous and spotty. Hair is greasy and not visibly glossier or thicker. Bad heartburn. Terrible backache. Not sleeping. Exhausted all the time. Where is the fun?!
Only thing that is good about it is how amazing my husband is being. I think it has brought us closer (though we were close as anything already) and he could not have been more supportive, he has just been incredible. It makes me feel very happy and confident that I am breeding with a good one lol :rotfl:0 -

Aww poor you that sounds rubbishI think we are all entitled to a bit of a sorry for self evening! At least we know we are not alone!
On a different note, our car seat just arrived! I cannot work it out. It doesn't seem to have any instructions (unless they are hidden somewhere), I can't see where the straps are and the handle thing is locked in place and I can't work out how to release it to pick the thing up. Not good! It was bought from Mothercare so not second hand or anything. I am hoping hubby will be able to figure it out better than me.
For some reason it got delivered to next door (though we were in, don't know if they even tried the doorbell!) and when hubby went to get it he told the man next door about me being pregnant and the man said 'Do you know who did it yet?' :rotfl: hubby said 'well it can't be the milkman as we don't have one' and the man said 'no....but we do!' :rotfl:0 -

Tea, I bought the Moroccan oil you recommended. It smells lovely. I now use the oil then cover the same places with aqueous cream. I had to move desks because I've been seconded to another job in my section, and there's a new person coming into my old section temporarily. they are going to try and get me a proper desk rather than just a glorified table but it will probably take ages - nothing happens quickly in the public sector. have to admit the stress of the new job is almost bringing me to tears, and I'm used to stress, must be the hormones I guess, and the guilt that previously when I did this type of role I could put in the 70 hour weeks that were needed, but now I'm exhausted after a 40-45hr week, so just can't do more, and don't know how i'll get the work done by the deadline. And in reality how I do at this job could mean I'm more or less likely to get a new job in the new structure this time next year, so it's more pressure.
top it all off with hubby wanting to go visit his parents for a weekend. I just love visiting the outlaws, it's so good to sit in a room where half the conversations are in Italian which I don't understand and then be accused of being rude because I don't join in. And if we dare to even walk to Tesco's MIL has a paddy and becomes ill because we shouldn't leave the house when we're visiting. Told him that if we are going we are going to get tickets for a show, (before we go so we can't be guilted out of it) so we have an excuse to get some air. I know I'm mean - but we don't go unless I've arranged everything and I get in trouble for us not going every weekend (they're 100 miles away for heavens sake!)
sorry winge over, there's a lot of folk worse off than me so i'll just stop complaining and get over myself.0 -
Teabag - keep forgetting to say I love the foot story
Oh public sector. We had an email today to say we have one ream of A4 paper to last 12 people until July.
Lemontree I do 40 hour weeks and really struggle. It's only in the last fortnight I could do more than one thing at the weekend. Although the things have a time limit of 4 hours before I need to stop and rest. What a shame you can't just go into your own world. Sounds like mil will pounce on it!Met DH to be 2010
