Wow 17 that's a lot of little eggies.

Looks as though back to square one for us, all of our test results are still missing, and got my new appointment for the end of March. So so mad again now, its bad enough cancelling it twice, its another thing going oh hey we are going to cancel with less than 24 hours notice when you've spent ages moving all things around, but hey ho you are so important that you now have to wait over another month and a half to go to the next step.
I now don't know if we are going to have to retake all the tests or what? Don't want to go in to the next appointment and they still haven't found the results.

  • All the best for tomorrow RG

Well done SewIt that's a good numbering will be happy with even third of them when I get my time.

All the best to fairy dust and frozen for your injections and cycles.

Hugs tea, hope everything sorts out soon.

    Hugs PM

Hugs to anyone I have missed.

Afm - got the coordination appt to explain injecting on February 13th and will start injecting from February 14th. Had my first acupuncture session today for ivf assistance it was nice and relaxing she suggesting to have 6 sessions in total from now to until ET. That sounded reasonable to be.

A question please I am having ivf with NHS, so wanted to know will I be paying for the injections or will it be paid. If I am paying how much am I looking at ?

Love actually - get yourself a prescription pre-payment certificate (search NHS ppc). A 3 month one is about £30. Each prescription item is £7.85 so you soon save. Each hospital varies as to how many prescriptions they spread it over but I would have paid about £110 without the ppc.

Obviously that's only the case for nhs cycles.

ETA: unless you get free prescriptions for any reason, then just ignore me :)

Love actually, my nhs cycle was fully funded which seemed to mean free drugs when I got them from the hospital. I think it, like most things, seems to vary wildly by location!

Good luck tomorrow rg, and great news on the eggs sewit!
  • SewIt - yay! yay! yay! 17 eggs is amazing :j That's great news, hope EC wasn't too bad and you feel okay, take care xx

RG - good luck for tomorrow xx

Fairy - how are you lovely?

AFM - I'm looking forward to having a morning off from injecting (I know I'll have to do it later in the day but I'm kinda blanking that out at the mo...). Day 7 scan tomorrow, will report back afterwards.

Ooh and goodvibes, star02, tea lover (and loveactually?) - if you're all cycling around the same time-ish, you'll be needing a fab cool nickname as well  :D xx
  • Thanks for the replies tea and T2D.

I don't get free prescriptions I think it's better if I pay for a 3 month ppc rather than £100.

I think I will know better on Thursday I have to pay or is it funded.

  • Sewit that's fantastic. I hope you have plenty of embryos tomorrow morning.

Loveactually I'm NHS funded and haven't paid any prescription charges for my drugs; the nurses at my clinic just gave me the drugs as and when I needed them. I'm not exempt from prescription charges and the clinic bills my PCT.

vesper I'd be tempted to read them the riot act; losing two sets of results?!?!

I'm so nervous about tomorrow and hoping that my 4 embies will be waiting for me & DH.

Suppose its worse, technically its 3 sets, - day 3 bloods, day 21 bloods and hubbys SA results.
Not even sure how that's possible. Hubby is going to phone them on Wednesday and see if they sort something out.
I'm guessing they have been put away for the Fertility people to have a look at it put somewhere.

Hasn't really helped as am cramping today, so looks as though evil AF is heading towards me.

Picklekin, bit of a daft suggestion but have you tried logging out and in again?

Just tried that and no joy, oh well, I guess it still shows all the information, just not as neat!

    Good luck today RG :)
