  • All my pestering paid off and I now have an appointment with a new FS on Friday, I was all excited till DH told me car is not available as it has to be repaired where someone drove into the back of him *sigh* hospitals are always a pain to get to if you can't drive!

This is utterly unrelated to TTC but am cross and there's no one at work to vent to! OH has been wittering on for ages about a tree at the end of our garden. It's outside a couple of garages so no one really knows who's land it's on... bit of a grey idea down there. Him and a neighbour decided the tree had to be removed (no idea why) but obviously thought they'd do it on the cheap. I told him that was stupid as a) we shouldn't be removing it in the first place and b) if it really has to go get someone with insurance to do it as it's close to loads of garages and houses.

So they went ahead anyway and now they have half a tree removed and a hole in someone's garage roof.:mad: Oh, and if that wasn't going to be expensive enough it's an asbestos roof.

It's a goob job I'm baby-sitting tonight... don't trust myself to go home right now! Will be fuming if we have to use our savings for this. Very tempted to tell him he's on his own sorting it out as I made it very clear I thought it was a v stupid plan that would end up costing money and causing damage.

Thank goodness I've got an emergency creme egg with me!

Lying in the hospital recovering after they collected 17 eggs!!! Blooming heck, I didn't believe the nurse and got her to check it was definitely me she meant to talk to!

Tea - I think all your dancing and creame egg eating worked! Thank you very much. Sorry about the tree fiasco, that's the last thing you need. X

  • Hello ladies, I'm going to sound like a weirdo but I have been following(lurking daily) on this thread for approx 7 years. I've read all your stories and seen the highs and felt all of the lows. I just wanted to say that I understand all those negative, green eyed feelings of hopelessness, I've been through them all and after an unsuccessful icsi in 2012 I had never felt so low and seriously wanted to give up on everything in my life.
Things changed, life moved on and I had to move with it. I am now 40 and after another ivf attempt I am looking at my 8 week old that I never dreamed I would ever have. Don't give up, stay strong, smile sweetly at all the insensitive comments and pregnancy announcements and live. I paused my life so many times for what ifs and really shouldn't have. I hope you don't mind me posting xx

  • 17? Blimey, well done Sewit!

Stupid question time - I've done "something" to my fertility friend, it doesn't show the nice big calendar any more, just more of an overview with lots of stuff on but I liked the big calendar, I've tried clicking all sorts of stuff but it wont go back!
