Hi tea! Not considered it as my cycles are thankfully regular but I can see why you would. Perhaps you could try it for a little while and see how you felt then. It's not a permanent thing and shouldn't mess anything up too much if you went on BCP for a month or 2 and see how you felt then, if it makes a big differnce to your general wellbeing in body and mind then you could carry on.
AFM, another BFN. That's 11 embryo transfers between myself and my surrogate now and no children. All we got was 1 ectopic, 1 chemical and an empty bank account.
No idea what to do now but I running out of time, patience and strength not to mention money!
Gahhhhh!!2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Lisa, I'm sorry. I was hoping you'd be lucky this time. Hugs.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Oh Lisa, what a bummer! Have been wondering how you got on, so sorry it wasn't better news xx.0

Lisa, that massively sucks! Sending lots and lots of hugs xxx
Thanks for the hugs everyone! Great to have such a lovely group of people to talk too about this, you are all lovely and wonderful! I'm taking a bit of time off work to get my head around things as we are only eligible for one funded round of ivf and we made a decision long ago that if it didn't work, then we would call it quits at that, as I really really don't respond well to the drugs and we felt we needed an end point. Never really thought we would end up here though : ( My boss has been a total b**tch though, asked me on Wednesday, one day after the final negative pg test, if I would be back to work on Thursday and could I pull myself together because they are short staffed!?!
Tea, I'm thinking about going back on the pill for a bit as I get crippling period pains thanks to my endometriosis and could really do with a break from it! Did think about going on the mini pill or something and just being a bit blaze about taking it?0 -
Smookle, your boss sounds lovely! Part of my pill thinking is endo too....don't think IVF did it any good.0

Lisa, sorry to hear your news, was so hoping it was good news for you.
Tea, I don't really have any advice, apart from to go with your gut instinct, if you're thinking about it maybe it is the right thing for you atm?
Nervously waiting for the weekend, I'll find out by Sunday I guess if the clomid has worked for us, trying not to second guess my body as I don't really know what a normal post ov/per AF body feels like!0 -
Oh !!!!!!..was supposed to be looking for a new flute today (excited!) but have three impossible to cover spots on my chin (ie.right where a flute sits). Can't decide whether it's worth even leaving the house.0

Lisa and Smookle - I am so sorry to hear your news. Nothing I can say to make it easier. This journey is simply unfair.
AFM, had to laugh yesterday. You know you've been TTC too long when.... You see this tank at Duxford war museum and think it sounds like a piece of equipment at the fertility clinic...0 -
What is it?? I challenge anyone to look at that and not think it's been designed to go where the sun doesn't shine!0
