    Oh code :( *hugs*

Ignoring hapless OH's attempts to help, maybe a different weight loss method would help? My SIL has lost almost three stone so far with Slimming World which works differently to the counting of MFP and Weight Watchers. Plus you'd have the support of a group and a group leader who might have experience of how to adjust the plan to compensate for the drugs?

I don't think that would work as I'd just be berated for never losing weight. Having done a google on the drugs - nobody loses weight on them. At the moment I'm fighting the doctors for a referral as I'm considering a surgical option.

gv - is it the type of protocol that means you'll be delayed? I did long protocol starting on CD21 so if CD1 had fallen at a weekend I just had to phone on Monday and could still go ahead that month. Seems rubbish if that alone means a delay. :( Hope you can sort it out. x

Well done on that impressive haul pink. Strong drugs are amazing. I remember being heavily sedated for a biopsy, but not sedated enough that I wasn't very rude to the doctor doing the operation. I still hold my head in shame at the thought!
Your advice about doing other things whilst moving forward with infertility treatment is so well written - spot on advice for us all, even if it's easier said than done sometimes.

Code the whole infertility thing is bad enough, without people telling us what we can and can't eat. You'd think our DH's would know by now not to say anything at all, if they value their own sanity!

Think Pink Good luck for Monday - go with any questions you think you may have written down in advance, or you'll walk out and remember loads of things your want to say.

Pickle and goodvibes good luck for both of you over the next few weeks.

AFM - my last month on clomid this month so I've little hope of it working. However, my cd21 test was 190, which is stupidly high. The nurse I spoke to when I asked why this might have happened just laughed and said at least I know I've ovulated. My appointment with the specialist has been pushed back to October. I'm going to be pushing for some immune tests then if I can, as the clomid has got me ovulating but I'm still not preggers. This journey is LONG!

I will be on the short protocol, I just need to move my AL around.
*hugs* Code. I was doing well with keeping the weight down and starting to lose it again. Had visitors over the weekend, means too much eating the wrong things and drinking.
Back no drinking and protein shakes again tomorrow to get on track. Was surround by men that never seem to put on weight no matter what they eat.

hi, how are you feeling? I have been reading your updates, hope your ok.
I've had a great week. After my trip to the docs, my OH surprised me by coming home early. I wasn't expecting him to home till Thursday so I had him here for 2 extra days. I love it when he does that:j
We have had a great few days, talked a lot about our ttc journey so far and our hopes for the future. I also informed him of my plans to install a new bathroom before Xmas, I need to keep busy while he's away at work and we do really need a hotel style bathroom :rotfl: he's not convinced with my reasoning....:)

Hope everyone has had a nice weekend.

Just incase anyone is interested or on them, all the vitamins are on 3for2 in Boots at the mo, including pregnacare and boots own conception support. Stocked up today, don't know if they are any good, but anything is worth a try!
  • Hi everyone
I have been reading through the last few pages trying to catch up with everything. Hope everyone is ok and hugs to all that need them.
Thinkpink - it's a great idea as another user posted to take a notebook to the docs with you. I took one with me last week to write down what the doctor had said to me. I get nervous going to the docs anyway and I had been dreading making the appointment. It was all fine though and I'm so glad I went.

Code - I hope your ok. Men just don't seem to get it sometimes, do they?

Oh !!!!!!, CD59 now... this is just silly!
  • Ack Tea, that's a really long time :(

I'm feeling completely shattered... Slept better than usual but still only about 5 hours (with a wee break!) and woke up worrying about neutron stars.. I do that sometimes I think when my worries are just to much to worry about so I think of something MASSIVE and TERRIFYING... Imagine something that huge spinning 100 times a second.. *shudders*... Sorry, bit offtopic but my brain isn't working today.
