Huge congratulations PM - so glad to see your happy news!!! :j

I'm in a bit of a quandary and don't know what to do - some of you may remember me from the TTC thread over the last 19 months. I came here back in November last year when we'd been trying for 12 months with no luck but fell PG 2-3 weeks later and felt like such a fraud for joining and then leaving so quickly - I understand how frustrating that must have been for those of you who have been trying for so long!

Roll forward 6 months - I lost that pregnancy in January at 8 weeks - it was triplets, fell pregnant again in April with 1 but lost that one 3 weeks ago, again at 8 weeks.

I re-joined the TTC thread but am finding it hard to stay with them as we've been trying for so long and some are so lucky that they fall PG within just a few months - I'm truly happy for them but I just don't know how that makes me feel.

I'm stuck in a limbo as we seem to be able to get PG but not stay PG so I'm not convinced I should be over here as you lovely ladies are going through so much medically to help you, but equally I don't feel like I fit in on the TTC thread.

    All thoughts are very welcome....

Oh Gelly, I'm so sorry to hear about your MC's. Are the NHS investigating or are they doing there "you have to MC three times before we'll look into it" screamworthy thing?

I can't speak for all the ladies here, but I feel that if you don't feel you fit in on the TTC thread (which I totally understand) then you are welcome here.
  • I agree with pickle, I think you're more than welcome in here - but I'm so sorry you find yourself in this situation. I can't imagine what you must've been through but this is probably a much better thread to be on than the normal TTC one! :) xx

Thank you both - I'm not looking for any sympathy so please don't worry, that's the last thing I want. You lovelies have all been through so much all ready on this long slog to creating our own families.

I am at that stage where they won't do anything until I've had 3 MC's in a row - it's horrible but at least I know that if it happens again for us, we'll either get our forever baby or some tests to try to find out what's going wrong.

Thank you for the welcome. I probably won't be the most frequent poster on here as I won't understand what many of you are going through with all the tests and treatments but rest assured, I'll always be thinking of you and supporting you.

Gelly, the thread may be called ttc but that's not the end goal. We all want a baby, and as many of us know, conceiving doesn't always guarantee that (sadly). We don't all have the same problems, but we do all share the same frustrations and heartaches.

Please don't feel that the part of the process you struggle with means you're not welcome here; you very much are. Much like it's always lovely to hear how people are getting on with adoption or surrogacy plans.
