RG -that is awful, I am so sorry for you and DH. Have you spoken to the clinic, I didn't even know bleeding could happen so early.

Fairy that is great news, good luck for et on sat.

Sorry to bring everyone down more but not a great day for me either. Only two embies were good enough to transfer. And even those two were onky graded 4/8 and 5/8 so they are 'in the middle' as the dr put it. I'm gutted that of 16 mature eggs we got two mediocre embryos. So even though I'm PUPO I feel like it's all over. At least I am spared the 2ww....

I will be sitting on the sofa stuffing my face with chocolate if anyone needs me.

    RW - Hugs xxxxxx

Hi all.... Have been a bit AWOL recently - Am just trying to chill out a bit as have SO much stress going on at work currently that I can't deal with everything!

Had AF a little while back and it was excruciating... real agony - not sure why  And ever since I have had dull, achey lower abdo pain ... its really worrying me as not sure what exactly it is... It hasn't helped that for the last 3 cycles I used the CB fertility digi and got peaks etc but this month, no OV according to the monitor... although I have had that happen before and I sometimes wonder if it might be a faulty test

Anyway - So finally got my appt at GP (went with hubby) and explained that I am unhappy they keep fobbing us off and each GP tells me AND dh different things about our results (grrrr)

So - she has referred me to a Gynae clinic.... Think it was me saying about the odd random mega AF pain and resulting dull achey-ness.... So - Am seeing someone in March :) Phew. At last - Movement! :)
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?
  • RG- Sending you huge hugs and wishing you and DH the best on your move!
Hope everyone is well and sending hugs to anyone who needs them.

Wishing the days away until Thurs for our next app. Only a group app to explain everything but just want to be there. Next step after that is planning app. Starting to feel real now!

Need to get back to work stuff now so sorry for the short message.
    GTS xx

SewIt - have everything crossed for your embies on board. Graded quality isn't a clear indicator of outcome.... but I know how hard it is to even hope sometimes.
loveactually - best of luck for your first injection today.
fairy dust - good luck for tomorrow. What time is your ET booked for?

Still no AF here. CD44 and I am cross with the world. Where has it gone??
  • Hugs SewIt xx :grouphug:

fairydust - good luck for ET tomorrow xx

Thanks everyone for the best wishes for my scan this morning - just got back and the lining is still 7mm; it hasn't grown at all since Tuesday but the nurse didn't seem bothered by that.
    On the right we now have 6 follies (up from 4) - 17, 18, 15, 11, 8 and 8. One the left we still have only 5 follies - 18, 18, 19, 17 and 8.

So 11 in total which doesn't seem a huge amount but they all said that was fine. Egg collection booked in for Monday 8.15am!

So I am now officially on the IVF list with hubby. Got diagnosed with Unexplained fertility. All tubes ok and no endo after lap and dye test. Now wait for couple of months - still trying in mean time and then to the hard part
Wish each and every one of you good luck in your own journeys xxx:o

Thanks Tea, it is easier to believe that it's all over than it is to hope. They said they wouldn't have put them back if there was no chance so that is something. Hope AF arrives for you soon.

Frozen - 11 is brilliant best of luck for ec on Monday!

    Hugs to everyone else xx
  • Tea ther's no such thing as too many doughnuts.

    Frozen good luck for EC.

Fairy I hope ET goes well.

Sewit :grouphug:it's awful isn't when the news about your eggs or embryos isn't brilliant. I totally understand what you mean about hope and certainty.

I spoke to a senior nurse at my clinic and she tried to reassure me the bleeding didn't mean the cycle was over as it could be due to ET or my cervix being sensitive. I'm now on 3 cyclogest a day to try and stop the bleeding and the nurse wants me to keep taking them until next Saturday (OTD) and do the pregnancy test.

I'm so sorry yesterday for being a drama queen. I think I was so scared it was all over I made myself believe it. Got my head together today and have a bit of hope that it might not be all over.

RG, SewIt (and anyone else feeling down)....sometimes it's just so hard to hang onto that bit of hope. Your heart and head want to protect you from a later drop, and eventually we prevent ourselves hoping at all. I think we all know that feeling! But I wanted you to know that we're all holding your hope for you, ready for when you dare take a peek at it again.

I like to think we have a big group hope here... so on the days you're feeling like it's never going to work, remember that others will be here cheering for you and waving flags.
