I'm not surprised you are losing faith. I sincerely hope you get some answers on Monday.

ETA: I have to make The Call to the clinic tomorrow. Has anyone got any tips on what to ask?

It's the call to see how many eggs have been fertilised.

  • That's what I thought, threw me that you were calling them and thought it might be something else then wrote a post and deleted it, grrr :)

uum when the clinic called us they told us how many eggs had fertilised normally and what next steps would be i.e if 1or2 fertilised then would've put both back on day 2, if 3 or more fertilised then would wait until day 3 and reassess and if 3 or more good quality on day 3 would go to day 5. Not sure if that is the same everywhere though? That was it then just waited for next call.

Also, I didn't ask the grading at that point but don't know if they can tell straight away or if they have to start dividing first?

Just watching 15000 kids and counting, so sad!

Thanks WW just over-analysing again. Thanks so much for the advice. Fingers crossed :)

  • Haha, tell me about it - over-analysing everything is my new hobby! I think the main thing will be to let you know how many are viable initially and a rough idea of when transfer might be. Lots of luck for the morning, everything crossed for lots of little embryos.

Just discovered OH has no recollection of coming in with me for ET! I sometimes wonder if a baby is a good idea lol, he'll be forever leaving it in shops.
