Well Lulu he might be partly right actually haha! Apparently it is better to do it every 2 days rather than every day for that reason. That's why doctors tend to advise you every 2-3 days throughout the month.0

Haha I won't tell him that :rotfl: I said that we should be doing it every 2 or 3 days and he said that was too much! Sometimes I think he's not a man..Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

lulu my OH was the same! I've got him (just about) on board with the every 2-3days, but when I suggested everyday around when I think I'm ovulating you'd have thought I'd just grown an extra head by his expression lol. nothing like making a girl feel wanted.....!0

I think we will just do it whenever really. He wants to make sure that I'm as relaxed as possible so doesn't want me doing OPKs or temping just yet. Of course I will track my cycle but I think we'll have fun with it for a few months and see where we are at in the new year. Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

I hope it works! Currently got two bets running: my mum has bet me a fiver that I'm pregnant by the end of October and OH has bet me £50 that any baby we have is heavier than 8lbs!Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Speaking as someone that has spent the last 2 months analysing every inch of my cycle, I absolutely say that this sounds like the most healthy, relaxed way forward! I've sort of felt this inner peace for the last 24hrs, and it's been wonderful! No more stressing out for me(you know...until my boobs start hurting and I convince myself I have an increased sense of smell
) Good luck!

That's a great idea, Claire. Try and see what happens with a more relaxed approach, although I'll be the first to admit that symptom spotting is the worst! I have got an increased sense of smell, which in turn makes me feel sick but I'm pretty sure that's not down to a bun in the oven!
We're quite a relaxed couple when it comes to anything so I think that helps. OH is treating it as NTNP because I think he knows I'll stress myself out if we monitor it with opks and the like. If you met my OH you'd understand why I love him talking about it so much, so to hear him suggesting names and telling me why he wants to be team yellow when it happens filled me with excitement (I could have jumped on him then...stupid AF..) but I want everyone on here to be seeing BFPs in the near future as you are all a lovely bunch and deserve it tremendouslyOur Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

I think it improves the quality of sperm but decreases the numbers produced. I could be wrong though0

Hi Ladies xx
Thanks for all the kind thoughts this week. The hospital called us in urgently today for some blood tests for genetic screening, it turns out that the baby we lost in April actually had Edwards Syndrome not Downs and it looks like there is a chance that one of us is carrying translocated chromosomes, which will cause recurrent miscarriages, we are OK in ourselves but when they match up the chromosomes don't match up as they should causing the problems. Really worrying as we don't want to keep going through this everytime we manage to fall pregnant. Results are going to take about 2 months but she said to keep trying, we will get early screening in future and see what happens but not really sure if I can cope with the not knowing, all such a lot to take in!
With the sperm thing, my understanding is that if the guy produces low amounts of sperm to not bd everyday and try and let it build up a bit. I think quality of sperm improves the more you do it as it's fresher.0
