I don't think I will enjoy it the same way again which is a real shame. I was one of those annoying people that sailed through pregnancy with my daughter and everything seemed to be going the same second time around until the mmc. I think i am going to be a real worrier when I do get pregnant again :(.

    Hugs to everyone today!

I do have to thank this thread sometimes as it makes me realise that it isn't necessarily going to be a smooth 9 months. I'm worried that OH won't enjoy it for reasons I don't want to talk about on here, so I'll be worried about him too. He has told me he will find it hard if I'm really excited (I can tell that now with the TTC conversations) so I've already told him how I will make him comfortable with it all - but have reminded him that he's got to make sure I am 100% happy and stress-free as I'll be the one with child!

I'm on the lightest AF I've ever had, but with all of the pain of my regular ones! And it will last until Friday, guaranteed!

So sorry boatgirl, I hope you're doing ok. :( Look after yourself.

I think I'll need to change my DPO at some point. Had a pretty dark OPK yesterday and had bad (ov?) cramps last night, which have gone this morning...although I seem to have another dark OPK today. Basically, I have no idea what DPO I am, if indeed I am DPO at all. I think this particluar brand of internet cheapie OPKs hates me

Just been talking to hospital about my results and the hgc hormone has reduced so definitely a miscarriage. Also found out a bit more about my previous miscarriage and it has been confirmed as being caused by Down's syndrome, specifically problems in the kidneys.

    Really sorry boatgirl. xx

Did you know anything about the reason for miscarriage before now? I haven't had any results despite having numerous tests.
  • No we had an autopsy in April but every time I called the hospital they kept saying no results, either they have coincidentally turned up recently or no one could be bothered to look them up and answer my questions. It's all a bit odd but at least we do have some answers. Obviously won't know what caused the most recent one as it is so early, they said to leave it one cycle and try again.
What was the timing of your miscarriage Wendz? I seem to recall it was around the same time as me, maybe slightly later?

Mine was 15+5 , found out at 16 weeks. I don't think they did a autopsy as far as i know but i had loads of tubes of blood taken and a swab.
  • Yes mine was about the same, slightly earlier, we had the scan at 13 weeks to discover a problem but baby still alive, referred for a cvs and by the time we got to that appointment at 15 weeks baby was already gone. We had the option at the delivery to have an autopsy which we took. Have they not been able to give you any indication as to what caused your one at all?

Got my test results back. The good news is that I don't have coeliac disease, thyroid problems, I'm not anaemic and there's no indication that I have any cysts or problems with my lady parts.

However, they have diagnosed me with IBS as they can't explain the pain any other way and the symptoms he described are pretty much bang on. So he gave me a bit leaflet and I went and bought loads of the food he suggested so I will feel better.

He asked me if I was on birth control and I told him I was on my break and I wasn't planning on going back on it and he looked like he was gonna tell me off!

Hugs and baby dust to all x
