Got my test results back. The good news is that I don't have coeliac disease, thyroid problems, I'm not anaemic and there's no indication that I have any cysts or problems with my lady parts.

However, they have diagnosed me with IBS as they can't explain the pain any other way and the symptoms he described are pretty much bang on. So he gave me a bit leaflet and I went and bought loads of the food he suggested so I will feel better.

He asked me if I was on birth control and I told him I was on my break and I wasn't planning on going back on it and he looked like he was gonna tell me off!

Hugs and baby dust to all x

I just wanted to say I have IBS, and I have had loads of tests (including the ones you've said above), but I have also had my gall bladder removed- anyway, since I came off the pill 13 months ago my stomach has been so much better, I actually can't believe what a difference it has made.

So sorry to hear your news boatgirl, big hugs.

Hugs to those on cd1/2 or those who just need one.xx

Hugs to everyone who needs one, especially you boat girl. After the worst AF (physically and emotionally) I've had since coming off the pill, I am feeling a bit brighter today and determined not to put so much pressure on us for this month's attempts. Its not easy all of this baby making lark!

I'm a bit disappointed that my doctor just gave me a leaflet and sent me on my way. I have been in so much pain since May and I don't feel like anyone is interested. I have read the leaflet and took the advice of eating more soluble fibre so had a big bowl of porridge this morning, followed by probiotic yoghurt.

I'm on my final withdrawal bleed now, due to end Friday. I'm hoping that the pain subsides when my AF cramps disappear so we will have to wait and see!

  • Can I be changed to 2 DPO please? I've conceded that I didn't ov last week, but totally through with staring at OPKs so I'm going with when I had cramps.

Glad you're mostly in the clear lulu but you must be really frustrated :( Don't be afraid to go back if you're seeing no improvement.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone :)

Welcome to the thread, Marmite! :D

Oh jazz, I know that feeling too well, it's so hard to ignore it too. Hugs xxx

Had a lovely conversation with OH last night on our impromptu date night. We've made pretty much every decision we can make, and it was lovely to hear him talking about it all, and he's really excited. Although, he said that if you DTD too many times in a month it "affects the quality of sperm" - now I think that's a load of rubbish, but he's convinced it's true?!
