Hello Everyone - I've been TTC since 5/14. I have one DS (2yo). My period is currently 2 days late but Pregnancy test is showing up negative has anyone else had this before? It's so frustrating I just want one or the other to come the anxiety of not knowing is too much and I'm starting to doubt myself and thinking I've skipped a week and got my dates mixed up which wouldn't be unusual as I can be terribly dippy

Looba - i wasn't very religious with taking folic acid last two times (before i found out i was pregnant). Didn't realise till recently that it can actually help you get pregnant.

Georgie - sorry can't really advise but cycles can vary sometimes.

Yeah I've been taking it for a few weeks - will officially be joining you ladies on 26th September

Question for you ladies - how long did it take when you came off the pill for your period to arrive? I feel like I've got period like cramps but only stopped taking the pill a week ago.

Do you normally have a break in taking it slowlyfading? I stopped for my normal break (Bleed) and then got my next period 28 days (ish ) after that.

No, it was the one where you took it all of the time and I didn't have periods at all. Thanks for replying though

I was on the mini pill for the last 4 years with no periods. I've just had my first period since coming off about 5 weeks ago. I didn't have any withdrawal bleed when I first came off it but according to OPK's I ovulated 2 weeks ago.

Some people have said they have a period straight away and others have taken months so I think it's very individual!

musogirl - thanks! I guess it's just a waiting game I need to look at all the things such as ovulating and how to tell - I'm such a newbie at all of this

I was bleeding every 2 weeks on the minipill...not fun!
