    Hello

Sorry I've not been on, we decided on a last minute week holiday- think its just what I needed, we had a crappy few months April/May and what with ttc we just needed to get away and relax.

Its been a year now since we started this journey and in that time I've had my pill af and 3 other cycles- its been a tough year!! I'm not even sure what cd I am on (thank goodness for the list- thanks Kelly). But I have my GP appointment next week so will get my test results and hopefully then I can know for definite if I do have PCOS, and if I do as its been a year hopefully I will be referred and we can move forward.

Congrats on any bfp I have missed and welcome to any new members of the thread.

Kira000 are you using the clear blue super ov tests? Do't know if you've read about them but they don't work like normal ov tests, the 1st one you do will always be negative, as a baseline level, when you get a flashy smiley face to indicate raised oestrogen you will get that everyday until it detects a LH spike when it will turn to a solid face, but if the LH spike isn't very high it will stay flashing forever! This is what happened to me last cycle, no solid flashy face, but I had a scan which showed I had ov'd phoned them up & they explained all this to me & they sent me 10 tests for free, turns out i def did ov as i got my BFP 2 weeks later! Just wanted to explain as they are so expensive but really good for pinpointing, I only used 4 the 1st month i used them. I also got them on ebay, saved quite a bit. Hope that helps. Good luck ladies!

Thanks Kate. Good to know. Those are the ones i've got. I've been testing for 3-4months, so i'm quite clear on my approx window, and my LH spike is quite clear on the IC's and seems to last about 8 hours, so hopefully I'll catch it!

Sorry to hear that snapping_crocodile everything crossed for next month!!

I'm on microgynon 30 but have no idea what it's like to come off, having been on it for 7 years!

Lulu, I was on Microgynon before i had DD1. I came off about 6 months before we started TTC. Didn't take long for my period to come back, but my cycle wasnt regular straight away. I did start OV testing immediately to understand my cycle better and make sure that I was OV. I did start taking Agnus Castus after a month or so, as my Luteal phase was a bit short.

Can I be updated to CD1 please? Not spotting but full on af, so I suppose I should count it even if it's an awkward time of day. I guess this is where the fun & games really begin eh ladies? 4 years without an af...wish me luck!

CD1 for me please :( Now going into month 9 of TTC. Rapidly heading for double digits of time.....not a milestone I hoped to achieve. Why is it that we do everything OPKs, BBT charting, DTD at the right time, raising my hips (!), supplements etc.....but still nothing?!?!!! Sorry,

I no how you feel. I always thought on the you came of the pill I'd fall pregnant straight away that's what happens to everyone else. The oh keeps going on about being 30 next month and how he'd always thought he'd be a dad by then. I felt like screaming at Him I'm trying . Ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Men!!!!!! When I told my oh I was CD1 so we would have to start all over again next month he said he was getting fed up of trying, and wanted to know why it hadn't happened yet?!!! Errrrr hello million dollar question or what??? They are definitely from a different planet. I'm sure they all think they have super dooper sperm that will impregnate us as soon as they look at us the right way lol!!
