Just need to have a vent really. We are only on month 1 of ttc and I know the chances of anything happening straight away are slim (though not impossible) soI have made a real effort not to get my hopes up. With my last pregnancy I didn’t realise I was pg until I was about 8 weeks when the tiredness and the sickness kicked in(well that and dh saying for the umpteenth time “are you sure you’re not pregnant?” – who said men don’t notice anything!). However I have had awful heartburn today (which I have only ever had when I was pg), I keep getting queasy spells and I do feel quite tired – but I KNOW that it is too early to really get these symptoms yet and they seem to disappear when I am preoccupied (funny that!). I am sure it’s just the anticipation that iscausing it. I also fully expect af to arrive in the next day or so (currently on CD 28/9DPO of a 28/29 day cycle) but I still can’t help wondering “what if?”. I’m sure it’s just my body teasing me. Aah, that’s better, grumble over.

Hi everyone,

Sorry everyone is going through it this month, hugs to all.

BFN 10DPO. I think I'm out this month. Only managed to DTD once before ovulation. OH is of the 'I don't want to BD on certain days, let's just see what happens,' persuasion, and has a low libido, but unless I change my name to Mary and have an immaculate conception, I'm not sure how he thinks it will happen unless we DTD more often. My last and only other pregnancy was a little shock in that we were NTNP, but it still took we'll over a year and a half after I stopped taking the pill and that ended in a mmc.

Maybe he is more relaxed because he has a kid already from a previous relationship. I don't know.

Urgh! That's my rant over. So glad you guys are here.

I literally think about ttc every hour it seems. Must stop and find a distraction!

Hi everyone, finally feeling ready to start trying again this month, am cd 14 but not temping or anything but guessing this is around ovulation. Will get scientific again if we are still here in a few months.
Still some faces I remember, I hope you all get your bfp's soon xx
For those who don't know me we lost our little bean at around 15 weeks, late April, I am lucky enough to have a gorgeous little girl already but can't wait for a little brother or sister to come along.

My oh is similar in that he hates me saying when we need to do it!! But I'm like, how are you supposed to know when we need to do it if I don't tell you?! Lol!

Hello everyone. Sorry for my previous moans and thank you so much for the birthday wishes. My pity party decided to go on for an extra day so there was no BDing going on at all. On a 'positive' note I have had no signs of OV so I don't feel too bad.
I think OH must have realised his gift was a bit thoughtless and brought me a large box of chocolates to compensate. Love the electric toothbrush!
Lollipop, welcome. It's not always easy finding time to DTD.
Frankieloo, I have no advice I'm sorry. I tried OPK's once and failed miserably.

Boat girl, welcome back. I hope your stay is short.
I think I will give myself a kick up the backside and try and BD this evening. Does everyone else get really frustrated at taking folic acid for seemingly no reason? I took mine with a glass of wine the other evening, just because. I will try and get back on track. X
