Looba - Happy Birthday! I feel your pain - my OH bought me an electric toothbrush last birthday!

We have also been trying for nearly a year now with one pregnancy lost at 15 weeks so starting to feel sorry for myself too but we must stay positive! It will be our turn soon xx

Happy birthday looba. Hope your day got better. We have been trying a year with a lost pregnancy too so know how frustrating it is. Took me 13 months to conceive my dd last time.

Claire - go and see doctor if you are worried. I am sure they wouldn't think you are wasting their time.

Sorry to hear about the cd1s and 2s.

I'm not too sure what the craic is with me. Got really bad period cramps although not due on or anything. Tested today and got a bfn. Did another and didn't really get a result, I could have sworn I saw two faint lines but I don't know.

Can't even go and see the docs because of work!

Happy birthday looba! ur right I hate cycles like these too, I'm on 17dpo today and spotting but no AF
Normally pretty reliable with my cycles and took a test today but def BFN.

Argh can't wait for this cycle to be over so I can start the next one, I actually got pregnant with ds after an anovulatory weird cycle like this so hoping next month may be the one!

Re birthdays, My OH just asks me what I want these days so not much in the way of surprise fancy knickers or jewellery but at least I get what I want these days lol

Hello everyone,

I've been a bit of a lurker of this board, and finally decided to join in as I think my husband is fed up of me talking about trying to conceive, as I do talk about it all the time, as much as I try not to.

We have been trying for around 6-7 months, like a lot of people I just sort of expected it to happen, but no luck so far. Bought some ovulation sticks last month, just cheapies of Amazon. I think I'm ovulating later than I thought, but I'm still trying to get my head around what I should be looking at. According to FF I should of ovulated last week, I was showing some signs on Friday that I was, and I've done an opk today, and its showing 2 solid pink lines today. My OH works mixed shifts each week (currently on nights) so find it difficult to dtd every day.

I'm at CD14, AF is usually around cd24, but recently its been getting later which has been beyond frustrating as its gotten my hopes up a few times.

Anyways, enough about me

After a bit of advice - I have had three separate peaks on my digital opk this month but no temp shift. I take this to mean my body has tried to ovulate 3 times but never got round to it. What do you think might be preventing it from actually happening? Any ideas? Thanks ladies.
