We applied for a mortgage whilst I was on Maternity leave and it didn't matter. All they needed was a letter from my employer stating that I was going back to work on full time hours and my salary would be X. Apparently they've had discrimination claims when they try to take it into account.

Not sure what's wrong with me this month, AF is due at the weekend and since it was way to hot to do much BD'ing I'm sure it is going to be here but although I'm usually fairly together I'm in a real emotional mess this time ! I'll be glad when the weekend is over for once then at least I'll know one way or the other.

See I knew that yet it hasn't been enough to change his mind. Just irritates me that I have to wait for his permission or something. Found out the maternity pay at work is atrocious so that worried me but OH is confident that we will be okay!

Fingers crossed for you and I hope you feel better soon :)

  • Hi everyone.

Can I please be updated to 0DPO. I had another smiley face today, and after some reading they say that you generally OV within 12-24 hours of the first positive so that puts it probably at today.

Didn't BD last night as OH was really tired, but will try to later today.

Good luck everyone in the 2WW. There is quite a lot of you, and August is looking pretty good so far!

I have the green eyed monster as sister has just announced she is having a girl. So happy for her, but I want one too (pink or blue)! Would be brilliant if we did get lucky then we would have kids with very similar ages. Should stop this thinking as it makes the arrival of AF more dissapointing than usual. This business is really hard, I am scared to even hope we will get lucky and think what it would be like, so you end up living in limbo, not quite in the 'dont have or want kids' camp nor in the 'have or expecting kids' camp. Urrrgh!

Anyway, I am trying to think of a cool pressie to get the baby (due xmas eve) so have decided to buy a charm bracelet and then I will buy charms for her birthday. For her son (he will be 6), I am going to buy a share in Disney!

Any reccomendations on the charm bracelet. I have a links one and my sister has a pandora one. I love the links one as I can add charms from anywhere on it. Does anyone have a pandora one? Can you add other charms or do they need to be the round ones from Pandora?
  • Can I be added to the list at 3DPO please?

Going by OPKs I ovulated around Tuesday, although I haven't had a period since coming off pill. Managed to get a fair bit of BDing in around that time so hopefully we have a good shot!

Has anyone here ever experienced ovulation bleeding? I've been spotting since CD13 the day after my peak smiley but had no temp shift. Can't work out if this is a very short cycle and this is AF as it's a bit heavier today or whether it could be part of ovulation.

P.s as an aside I had a blood hcg test on the same day as getting a fairly decent positive on an FRER. (It wasn't a BFP but leftover from my loss). Got the result back yesterday and blood HCG was 7. Those FRERs must be super sensitive!!
