Fingers crossed for you Aunty :) Look after yourself - don't stress yourself out!

I got my predicted BFN this morning, so can at least go on holiday & not worry about drinking! Not taking any OPKs with me, not going to analyse CM etc & just enjoy hols, eating, drinking...BDing ;) I think my new mantra is "I shall not be a slave to my uterus!" Anyone want to join me?? Hoping to read about lots of BFPs on my return x

Have a lovely Holiday Claire. Chilling out sounds exactly like the right thing. However re the BFN, How many DPo are you? You may have had a BFN, but if you are late, it may still just be too early? Esp if you are not exactly sure when OV happened.

So took DD out for a walk round the block with her trike this afternoon. Got half way, and suddenly felt all dizzy and then nauseous. I walked a few metres more, and then threw up on the pavement. Mortified! Been hot flushing and peeing all afternoon too! If i'm not PG after all this, then i'm going to be gutted...

    Good luck Aunty and Kira!

Aunty, in your shoes I would test, because I think I am addicted to testing! Personally I would rather know than have false hope but that is just me - and hopefully you will get your BFP! Keeping everything crossed for you xx

Please could I be updated to CD2 on the list - no luck this time but I think I would have been unbelievably lucky if we'd caught given we only BD'd once and we caught first time last time!

    Thanks. Onwards!

  • aw, hugs Lillian.

AFM, I haven't tested yet 'cos I still don't have any tests! We live in the country (so no shops nearby) so I think I will pop into town during lunch tomorrow at work to buy something. Bit frustrated with my OH though.

Yesterday morning we are talking about the whole if I was pregnant etc and he said:
"well, when are you going to test?"
me: "when I'm late [for AF] I suppose"
him (all excited): "Well, aren't you due yet?"
and then he grabbed my iPad and looked up fertility friend to work it out and it felt like if I had a test he would have wanted me to do it there and then! Which I didn't mind except that I had been doing a fairly good job up until then of just being in the vague 2ww bubble and not thinking too specifically about it. And then I go all dithery and thinking about it all the time.

So today I say that I could go and get a test and he says
    "why?"
me: "I thought you wanted to know"
    him: "no"
    ???

so I told him that I wasn't very happy with him (!) and he said sorry but he didn't think it was worth driving into town to get a test.

    *sigh* men!!!

Hello ladies! Hope you don't mind me joining in here, I've been reading this thread for a while yet and starting to understand what all the terminology is! It seems like you are all great supports to each other :)

My OH and I got married the beginning of last month, we knew we wanted to start TTC for our first as soon as we were married so I came off the pill just before the wedding. Having been on it 9 years I suspect I may be in here a while!

I've been doing opks the last couple of weeks having had the most horrendously painful first AF, and finally got the smiley face yesterday and today! No idea where that puts me in terms of those codes though? Is it based on how far into my cycle I am? Any enlightenment would be much appreciated! :p

    hi there, Welcome!

CD (Cycle day, this number is how many days you are since the 1st day of your last period.

I would say that today you are 0DPO (days past ovulation) unless tomorrow you get another smiley face.

    hope that helps.
