MrsSippi - When I got my first bfp, I only had a luteal phase of 10 days, OV right around CD17 or CD18, and had 27-28 day cycles, so it is possible!

Thanks for the reply. I think we'll give it a go then in case I am about to ov. I can't remember when I was ttc last time how long my luteal phase was but I suppose it can't hurt to bd for the next few days.

Last time I was tring I was getting a positive at 16 days and had a 29!day cycle, so is possible!

Just popping in to say devildolly5 that's exactly what I did. I found the IC really hard to read (my test line never seemed to be as dark as the control line - at least not all the way across).

When I'd get what I "thought" could be a positive result, I'd do the CB digi just to get the smiley face to confirm my result.

Well we dtd last night and I've just done opk and got 2 very clear lines so looks like I may not have missed ov this month after all. Will try again today and tomorrow and funnily I'm not too worried if it doesn't happen this month, I'm more relieved that we didn't miss our chance altogether.

We also DTD last night and I got a big fat smiley face on the digi this morning, so I guess I OV later than I thought.

I will do another IC when I get home at the same time as the digi to see what a positive on the IC looks like for me.

Does that mean I am 0DPO tomorrow or today?
