    Hugs skaps.

I don't know how long you've been trying, but, I know what you mean, although I'm not bitter just yet.... I feel that so much emphasis is given on not getting pregnant, for obvious reasons, no one realise that actually it won't happen immediately for everyone. More than anything, I'm a bit resentful of people who ask me "so when are you going to have a baby then?" as if it's entirely in my control.

Yeah I am trying to be alright with it but when someone announces they are pregnant, or asks me the dreaded question its difficult. I have talked about it with some people as they need to know its not so easy for some people. I have been trying since the beginning of 2012 and have what they call 'unexplained infertility'. Am trying to not want it so much but its hard especially as I am a teacher.

I agree. It's the comments that make it difficult mainly because I don't know what to say. I haven't told anyone else we're trying but I've had comments like "so you're not pregnant yet?" and then last Christmas "this will be the last Christmas you're working with us because this time next year you'll have a baby", "you'll make the announcement after you've had a couple more holidays", when my colleague brought her little girl in a few months ago everyone watched me with big eyes as I interacted with her a little. Then two of my colleagues had a big discussion about it, one said "it'll happen soon" for me, the other said "oh she's much too young for all of that". Ahhhhh.

Thanks for the replies about the pill/long cycles ThinkPink and sulphate.

I've been off the pill since January after being on it for approx 10 years. Pre-pill I *think* I was pretty regular (seems like so long ago!) I remember having AF every month, I'm sure.

Hmmm, so I've made it to CD50 - that makes it sound like something to be proud of! :o - my husband bought me a CB test as he thinks there is a possibility the internet cheapies don't work (bless him) so I will test tomorrow, but I'm not convinced. I know I'll just feel massive disappointment again when I see that BFN again. I think I will look to get a docs appointment if I reach CD70, as that's twice as long as my shortest cycle. Hopefully I won't make it to that though, although saying you have cycles of 100+ fills me with dread :(

Anyways, enough moping for tonight... It's the weekend, woohoo!! I've got quite a busy one but I'll make time to update yo with the results of the CB test at some point. Have a lovely one, ladies xx

Can someone else do the lists for a bit (until kelly is back or until my husband can stop breaking bits in my laptop)? I can read posts on the tablet, but it's a giant pain to post! Thanks, and hugs to everyone who needs one!

Mrs tm - I can do the lists if you like, just let me know how I do them and I'll take over until either your laptop is fixed or kelly is back.

Missymoo - I'm actually fairly calm about the 130+ day cycle, it's out of my control, and I've read stress can delay them so Im trying not to think or worry about it! Yes I have the odd 'what if something is wrong' moment but until I've had my scan I don't know if there is a problem, but I'm trying my hardest to ensure that those thoughts occur as little as possible!!!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.x

That seems like a great attitude to have, ThinkPink :)

I wish I could say the same for me, but I tested this morning and as expected it was a BFN. I've tried to keep my mind off it all in the hope that it will trigger AF; going to the gym and attending new fitness classes, busying myself with work etc but it's no good - it's all I seem to think about! But, hey ho... who ever said ttc was easy and straightforward!?

    Hello everyone.
I haven't been on for a while. I got a bit disheartened with OH but he has assured me it was just a blip. Thank you for your words regarding this wegle. I think I understand it is also very difficult for him. I have ordered some OPK's to help as he doesn't think he manage to BD every day. Sorry for AF, I thought it might have been your month. x
Skaps, I do feel bitter sometimes. I think it's only natural. I try and count my blessings as I don't like feeling bitter about it. Certain situations can be difficult. Just the other day I had coffee with some friends to be asked if there's any news 'baby wise'. I know they mean well but if there was any news I would probably have been shouting about it.
Mrs_T_M, I can do the lists if you like but I would need some instruction.
Shopping and ironing to do today. I don't like weekends. It always seems to be housework.
Just waiting on AF then gearing up for this next month. It should only be a few days off. X

One thing I am currently doing is eating healthy and trying to lose weight as my BMI had gradually crept up to over 30, I've lost half a stone far and am just a tiny bit under 30 which puts me back into overweight rather than obese!! Doing this is keeping my mind occupied and I feel determined that next time I need work trousers or jeans I wont need to get a size 14 as a size 12 will fit!! I'm hoping that losing a bit of weight may also help with my cycles.

Missymoo- I have to have this postive thinking attitude otherwise I know what I'm like and I don't want to become the person I know I could easily become who obsesses all the time and spends all her time worrying (I've done this with other things and am really trying hard not to with this. Im making the most of enjoying myself and spending quality time with my husband and that is also helping me.

Hope you've had a lovely time away Kelly.x
