Thanks everyone for the good wishes, we are still in a bit of shock TBH!!


Nicky - we only started trying this month so I'm sorry but I don't have much to go on. I haven't really had any symptoms other than skipping af and as I mentioned in an earlier post I had a massive breakout of spots.


I was temping and made sure we did it in the few days leading up to expected O. We are very lucky that it seems to have worked straight away, needless to say, husband thinks he is some kind of Adonis!

I take a prenatal that has both in it, but I still take extra folic acid and vitamin D due to my weight. I also take a B complex tablet to make my LP 13-14 days instead of 9-10 and aspirin due to the clotting disorder I have. There are all sorts of things that you can take (safely) to help your cycles, but the vitamin D and folic acid are key.

Sorry everyone about yesterday, I completely forgot to do the lists yesterday morning (we went out of town to see DH's grandad for his birthday and were gone all day!) and when I finally got back home I was so tired I fell asleep almost immediately.

I think I've updated everyone properly, but if something is off/wrong, please let me know!

Thanks ThinkPink and cwtw - I do have pretty regular cycles but very short AF. I have everything logged in FF on my phone too. Hope I get a nice GP, I always worry they're just going to tell me to go away!

Hi everyone! I'm back after staying away for the weekend in the attempt to relax, but AF still isn't here :mad:

So I'm now on CD46 which matches my first true cycle after coming off the pill, and I've also just done another HPT (they were delivered really quickly!) but it's still saying BFN. Feeling worse than I thought I would about it, possibly as I saw 4 magpies on the way home and thought it was a sign, on top of having at least 3 dreams where I've got a BFP The CM I've been getting is now reducing, so I'm guessing - and hoping - that AF shows up soon so we can start afresh. I've now given up thinking that I could be pg this month so I'm impatiently waiting. I really don't want it to get to 50 days! :eek:

Anyways, hope you have all had a great weekend. Paige - massive congratulations to you!! Amazing effort for first month ttc Shrimpy - hope all goes well at the docs, although I don't like the thought of having to try for another year ThinkPink after already waiting a year to see docs in the first place. Is that standard practice or do they ask you to try for a year after they know you are ttc and that was the first time you saw them? I'm only on 5 months ttc so I'm praying it won't take me that long, but it's interesting to know about. Sulphate, I definitely wish I never went on the pill and I don't think I ever will again now!


Finally, was there really just 1 BFP last month!?!? How depressing, let's all hope for a massive June Can I guess 5 BFP's please, Mrs_T_M?

Morning everyone. Today is a washing and sterilising day, as will be the next 8 days... My mom caught scabies from a toilet seat at the homeless shelter where she was volunteering at, so we finally figured out what it was, got her to the doctor, got some cream for it, and now I have to undergo treatment as does DH and we have to nearly boil wash all of our clothes and bedding for 8 days straight! Ugh! Oh well, as long as it kills the mites and gets rid of them, I don't care what it takes.

So, I hope everyone is having a better day/week than me!

Also, x_missymoo_x, since we don't exactly know which DPO you are, I moved you down a bit and put a '?' down for you. Hope that's ok.
