I am so sorry that I forgot to do the lists yesterday! DH finally figured out most of what was wrong with my laptop, so hopefully I'll actually be able to keep up from here on out.
*hugs* for CD1 wegle.
Tomorrow is DH's birthday, and CD 14 for me, so really good timing! Fingers crossed, eh?0 -
Hello all, I've been a but quiet if late, after my last cycle of clomid failing/me not responding I took some time out. Was really nice not to overanalyse every twinge & ache! Anyway I'm CD1 today, starting my 3rd round of clomid tomorrow, fingers crossed!! Any hints or tips for getting a clomid cycle to work? I Responded well to the 1st one but nothing the 2nd round.0

I'm out as well, CD2 for me. I worked out today we've been trying for 21 months and all I've got to show for it is 2mmc and a cat. Perhaps we should just adopt another cat. Anyway, we are no longer ntnp but actually back on the wagon. Im 2lb off the bmi target I was given after my ERPC, so no one can use that excuse again.
I haven't had chance to read back, but hugs to everyone who needs them and congrats to paige turner0 -
((wegle & jay)) Sorry that you're out of the running for another month - fingers crossed the next one is better for you both x
I'm CD49 now and I'm fairly confident I'm going to hit the dreaded 50 tomorrowI've been saying for the last two weeks that I'm sure AF will arrive soon, but I honestly don't have a clue now. I'll test again on Sunday which will be a week since the last test and I'll test again weekly, but I think it's a long shot as I feel no different.
I'm considering going to the docs about my irregular and long cycles (I read on the OPK leaflet you should see a dr if cycles are over 40 days), but how long would you recommend I wait? Anyone else with long cycles, have you see docs about them? Whilst I don't want to feel like I'm wasting their time if all they'll do is tell me to wait it out as it's probably just my body getting used to being off the pill, I also don't want to do nothing if there is something that could be done IYSWIM?
On a more positive note, I went to the gym today and whilst I ache like crazy, I feel great! It's good to be back, and I'm hoping to join more fitness classes so I become more regular and dedicated than my last dismal attempt

Hi Kira, in the nicest possible way I hope you're not with us here for very long
Happy BD'ing!! X0 -
Missy moo- how long have you been off the pill?
I spoke to my Dr when my first cycle was about 80 days, but only as I was seeing him about something else anyway. He sent me for some blood tests, but I think this was also because my periods weren't regular pre pill. The tests came back Ok then af arrived on cd 100. My next cycle was 43 days and now my current cycle is something like 130 days (I've not even checked the list lately to see what cd I am!! Lol). This cycle got to about 110 days when I went to the Dr's, who is sending me for a scan and blood tests, I think this is because I was never regular and because I'm almost at a year now of being off the pill.
I can't remember if you have said what your cycles were previously like pre pill, or how long you have been off the pill. I guess depending on the answers to those questions would determine if I went to the Dr yet, but if you know that going to the Dr would help you (mentally) then I would go, because that way you can talk through your concerns and they can use their expertise as to whether they think it's too early to send you for tests or whether it is worth at least getting some blood tests done.
Congrats on the bfp paige.
Had to rearrange my scan so now have to wait until middle of July!! Never mind, what's an extra two weeks!! Lol
Hugs for those on cd 1/2.
Hope everyone is well.0 -
I haven't sought any medical advice for long cycles, because some of mine are OK (my last one was 60 days, but the ones before that were 35/39 days, and one before that was around 50 days)... really varies. This one looks to be a 35 ish day one too. I decided to chart to see if I was actually ovulating and apparently I am (well, I am this cycle, anyway).
I was regular as clockwork before going on the pill, so am rather hoping my reproductive system is (was?) just a bit sleepy rather than in a coma.
I was on the pill for 8 years, came off in June last year. I think if I'd found I wasn't ovulating I would have tried Chinese medicine, as I've heard good things about that. I am not in a hurry to try things like Clomid etc, and probably wouldn't go down that route for another year, if I'm not pregnant by then. Because as far as I'm concerned, I think the pill has caused this, and I don't want to take more drugs for as long as I can help it.
This is just my opinion by the way not suggesting everyone else should follow my lead!
As far as the FB thing went, a friend of mine (who has 3 children) was posting about some pregnancy related article she read that she was apparently inaccurate, I asked a couple of questions and just felt a bit patronised when she replied but that may be me being overly sensitive. But then one of our other friends came along and abruptly called her a show off so I stayed out of it from then on :rotfl:0 -
Please update me to CD2 .
Congrats Paige Turner. Hope all goes well x
Does anyone else feel like this whole journey is making them bitter? I have turned into such a bitter person that I hardly recognise myself. I feel like I am stuck in a rut with this whole thing.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0
