I am at 13DPO and going a bit crazy


The last 2 months af has arrived on CD26 into 27. Today is CD27 and nothing so far... Which is getting me excited and nervous and all sorts of emotions kicking in. Husband was getting over excited this morning so I've had to tell him off as I know it's far too early. My temps have stayed high and they usually dip on the day af comes, but I'm not sure if they might be a bit inaccurate cos I haven't slept well the last couple of nights...


Not sure what to do, I'm desperate to test but scared at the same time. I've said to husband I'm not testing til tomorrow, so keeping everything crossed af stays away in the meantime.


Have to admit, I've been reading and reading and reading people's symptoms etc, and tbh, other than a big breakout of spots on my jawline and my back, I haven't noticed anything else. There again, I've always had bad skin so that might not even mean anything....

Agreed! And saying 'next month I'll be relaxed' is easier said than done, it's virtually impossible to think of anything but ttc! Fingers crossed for you, if you've been consistently regular before then this could be promising, however we all know too well that our bodies play tricks on us sometimes.


AFM, I've now moved on to CD43. I had a couple of really vivid dreams last night that I did a test and it was positive, so I decided to use my last one and test with FMU. BFN!!! I was so annoyed with myself for testing as I had said I wouldn't until at least Monday, but I've had this achey sensation for around 4 days now and still some CM so I convinced myself there may be a chance. Wrong!! Have just had to order some more from Amazon :mad: What this also means is that I must be wrong on the lists now, as surely if I'm 18DPO I should have either tested +ve or AF should be here by now!?


I'm going to try and stay away from here over the weekend to keep my mind off it all, so I'll check back in on Monday. Will also have returned to work then so hopefully that is a welcome distraction too. If you see me here over the weekend though, tell me off!! Have a lovely weekend everyone xxx

Missy - boo to BFN!!!! Are you temping? What did you base your OV date on? It may be you OVd later and it's just too early to tell. FX that's what it is.

Looba - my hubs has struggled a bit this month. He has two children from a previous marriage that were both unexpected. I think he honestly thought that this would happen quickly for us and it hasn't yet. I try to keep the pressure off of him, but I know he picks up on my feelings and this makes it a struggle for him sometimes. I'm sure your OH wants this as much as you but that you are right and deep down he may be a bit fearful of what could happen or even not happen. Conceiving and sustaining a pregnancy is so beyond our control and probably feels much more out of their control for men than it does us girls. Maybe a good chat about why you decided to have kids and try and remember back to the exciting days when you first started. I haven't been through what you two have so I obviously can't give the best advice, but generally in life and relationships, being honest with each other is the most important thing. Xxx

Estateprincess - ughhhh symptom spotting is soooooo hard to avoid! I've been doing it all day and I know I shouldn't. FX for you that you get that elusive BFP!

Paige - My advice would be to try not to test, however if it were me I know that I would have by now!!! Really hoping this is the cycle for you.


AFM - The good news is I'm 9DPO and no spotting woo hoo!!!!!!! Seems either the B6 or Angus is having some effect. The bad news is, as I'm going to a festival tomorrow and will likely be drinking I thought I would do a test and, no surprises, BFN!!!!!!!! I stared at that strip hard in every light available but it is without a doubt negative. I know it could still be early but it still sucks!

It's driving me crazy already, good on you if manage to abstain all weekend, I've done little else but google every little symptom or not...

I ended up testing this morning... My temp was down but not as far as the cover line and still no sign of AF so I figured I might as well...

I only had cheapie tests but hb and I were both convinced we could see the second line, altho it was so faint we could have imagined it because we both really wanted to see it... Looking at the test now, the second line is obvious, but I know that doesn't mean anything... Gah...

I went out earlier and bought some FRER tests, kinda wish I'd went for a digi tho, cos then it would be clearer maybe? Not sure when I'm gonna test again, still half expecting AF at some point today, I keep going to the toilet just to check. Hoping to abstain from testing til tomorrow but you never know...

Hi all, went to visit my doctor this week - had to try for 6 months after I had my polyps removed and then go to doctor to get referred back to hospital - has not been 6 months more like 5 but thought I would go back earlier.
Anyway have got a hospital appt for July. Doctor was telling me she has been through this whole process herself and went through what may happen. She was very good. Though she did say that I need to be taking folic acid and vitamin D while I am trying. I did at first for a while but since its been soooo long I have stopped. What does everyone else do?
