Ah we all need a little treat every now and then! I get my nails done too, every three or four weeks depending on how bad they are looking.
Hope all is well ds1 and the hospital appointment went well.

Thanks Mrs S, the hospital appointment went well, hopefully we should see an improvement with the new medication.
Had a lovely weekend away, boys had an inset day today so have spent the evening getting all school stuff ready for tomorrow. Also paid another £50 off the debt this afternoon.0 -
Just got back from soft play with little one, cost £3 to get in and I bought a coffee which was £1.80. I need to buy some potatoes for dinner tonight so should only be a LSD today.
Paid the rent for the month so that's sorted and should hopefully see how much money we have to pay towards the debt this month.
I'm planning on making some flapjacks again this week as the boys seem to love them at the moment! I'm going to drizzle melted chocolate over them this time though.
Ok off to grab some lunch and have a nosy through the other diaries whilst duckling is napping.0 -
Morning diary
Didn't spend money on potatoes yesterday as we had rice instead. I did buy a bag holder thingy for our walk in kitchen cupboard though which was £4.50. I'm hoping it will make the cupboard look a little more tidy as I have so many bags thrown in there at the mo
So today I need to go into town to buy my stepdads birthday present and I need to get the boys some new socks and pjamas. It's going to be quite a high spend day today.0 -
Ended up spending £56.43 yesterday but got everything I needed. Had my nails done today as I had to cancel last week so that was £20, I need to buy some fresh bread rolls to go with dinner tonight but they should only be a couple of pounds.
The boys have a big plastic coke bottle in their bedroom that we bought from The Range, I currently put all our 1ps, 2ps, 5ps and 10ps into it, I have decided that it is going to be our 6 weeks holiday fund. So basically I will save as much as I can in loose change from September until July then bank it and draw the money out for days out in the holiday. I seem to spend so much even just on swimming, cinema etc I think this will help.0 -
Ok so I have decided that this evening I will count all the loose change we have so far and add it to my sig, I'm hoping for at least £100 but thinking about it I might change it to £150.
Anyway I'll update after I have counted it all tonight......0 -
Afternoon diary
Well I have been ill since Saturday morning
I didn't manage to count our loose change so I'm just going to keep throwing our pennies in there and count it all in July ready for the school holidays.
I went shopping first thing yesterday morning and spent £89.45, if I have meal planned correctly I should only need to buy en extra loaf of bread this week. The bank account is looking too bad, hoping to pay another £50-£80 off the debt depending on how much we have left but as we have a few big birthdays this month I don't want to leave us short this early into the month.
Swimming with ds1 tonight then home for dinner and homework.0 -
Hope you are feeling better Newme, nothing worse than having to rush around after the little ones when you're not feeling 100%.
I'm sure your pennies will mount up, whats that old saying "look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves"!
Hope you are sitting with your feet up after swimming/dinner/homework.

Thanks Mrs S, feeling a lot better today.

Went out and bought all we need for pancake making last night so the kids are really looking forward to them tonight. They have asked for marshmallows though which I though we gad in already but realised this morning we haven't got any
I need some fresh rolls from the bakery so I will pop to the local shop and grab some then.
I have managed to clean the house already today as we have been up since 6am as duckling has a cold and can't sleep properly. I dropped the boys off at breakfast club at 8am finished cleaning and now we are snuggled on the sofa having a disney jr day.
Added over £1 in change to the pot last night which DH left on the side.
