  • We'll complete change of plan for today, a friend text and asked if we wanted to go to soft okay this morning so we have been there most of the day! Had a lovely time though so definitely worth it :D

Duckling is asleep now so just grabbed a quick coffee and going to Hoover before we have to go back up the school.

Spent £3 to get into soft play and £2.25 on a cappuccino.
  • Spent £3 for the boys to go to breakfast club at school, I'm going to a friends this morning for coffee and let the little ones play then we have people over this afternoon and swimming lessons after school. Hoping not to spend any more money today.

Really want to keep my bank looking okish so I can try and pay a bit more off the credit card before pay day.
  • Just checking if my signature works ok!
  • :money:Signature is there!

    :)thanks!!!

Ok so Saturday was a NSD and yesterday I spent £15.46 at the supermarket on bits for a roast dinner, bread, juice and butter.

I need to do another shop at some point but just haven't got the motivation :( I'm so rubbish when kids are off school.
Hubby has booked a surprise weekend away this weekend for us and the kiddies so I'm looking forward to that, he has been managed to save the spending money without me knowing as he knew I would panic we wouldn't have enough! Soooo excited about it. :)

Well I'm off to check the bank..............
  • Yay I managed to get off my butt and go shopping! Spent £32.78 and already had a £30 voucher so ended up only paying £2.78 out do my purse :D I didn't need to get a lot as we are away Friday and because the boys are off school for half term I don't need to buy lunchbox bits as they can have beans/egg on toast etc for lunch.
Me and the boys made cherry flapjacks this afternoon too.

Ds1 has swimming lessons this evening so it will be a quick pizza, salad and garlic bread dinner tonight. I checked the bank earlier too and, considering its pay day Friday, it's. It looking too bad.
  • Ooh well done on the shopping - I love it when you have vouchers or tokens and you end up like you have, paying £2.78 for a load of shopping! Have you ever seen extreme couponing on TV? Its american, they go daft for coupons and get like $600 worth of shopping for $10 - crazy!

I need to try and get DD and DS back into swimming lessons, I used to take them but we didn't renew after a block and its fallen by the way side.

Glad to hear the bank isn't looking too bad - keep up the good work!!

  • I LOVE extreme couponing! The stock they collect is amazing. :T

Hoping for a NSD today, going to have lunch in a min then head off to a friends so the boys can play and have fun. I think it will be burgers, wedges and salad for dinner tonight. Nice and easy!

3 more sleeps till pay day!
  • It really is amazing, they have garages and rooms that would rival small corner shops!

Hope you managed to do your NSD! I have been and done a food shop today so definately not a NSD for me!!

Now only 2 more sleeps til payday for you - I do love a payday countdown :)

I didn't manage a NSD yesterday as I had to buy bread rolls :( I suppose it was a very small spend so not all bad!

Today has been a NSD though :) we have had a day in so the boys can complete all their holiday homework. Tomorrow we have hospital for ds1 in the afternoon so I will have to take some change for parking and I'm having my nails painted in the morning (my little treat I have done every three weeks)

We are having a chilli for dinner tonight then try and get the boys into bed at a reasonable time as we were all up till midnight last night watching films!
