Well i have recieved my CISAS Case Letter - but it suggests 10 working for a response. I thought that the company would only get 5 days to respond to me??
Oh well lets see where this one goes now
Case No: XXXXXXXXXXXXXX - XXXXXX v T-Mobile (UK) Limited
We acknowledge receipt of an application for adjudication by the customer, a copy of which is attached for the attention of the company.
Please note that any further documents submitted after this date may lead to your application being restarted in order to give the company time to consider them.
In accordance with the rules of the scheme, the company is now required to submit two copies of their response to the claim, which should be returned to us within 10 working days of receipt of this letter, that is, on or before 11/04/2014. The company should list all papers being submitted, and where possible submit their response by email. A copy of any defence to your case received from the company will be sent to you and you will be given the opportunity to make any comments about it which you wish to make.
Please be advised that the company may contact you in order to negotiate a settlement of your claim. If they do that but no agreed settlement is reached they must still submit their defence to your claim by the due date above.
The company may decide to settle your claim in full, ie to give you everything you are claiming in your application. Under these circumstances the company will notify us and we will write to tell you. We will close our file at that time because the adjudicator has no power to award any more than is claimed.
We will contact you again in due course.0 -
I received E-Mail from CISAS, defence from EE.
More or less same as above, but slight differences, only have 39 points0 -
@dg25
They get 10 days for their first response,
they have been asking for an additional 5 days, for their earlier requests.0 -
Am I the only one here whose case has been transferred to an adjudicator due to no response from EE even after the 5 day extension?
I don't know which way the adjudicator might swing without any defense from EE! I think ultimately we will need to go to the SCC and therefore was looking forward for a similar response to everyone else as EE have provided excellent material for an SCC case!0 -
Reply received today.
More or less the same -
However this was for my partners account where they referred to her as a him!
Clearly cut and paste jobs for all these.0 -

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Seems that the ee defence example base keeps growing. Are they expecting most people to give up and go away!? Got no idea how many people have been following this thread, but let's just Hope the ones who have are successful.
One thing for sure when my contract expires later this year I will be leaving ee, I have been on t mobile for about 10 years and never had a problem. . But the customer service and attitude to customers since the launch of ee is shocking0 -
I got the same response as the others it's about time these money scrounging scumbags feels the full force of consumers.0

Finally got the response from EE, two days after the extension period expired! Same copy paste response for Pre Oct 2012 contracts.
The Company in this matter made a request to submit its Response to your complaint after the deadline had expired. The Adjudicator decided to accept the late Response and a copy is now enclosed for your information.
You are now invited to submit any written Comments you wish to make within the next five working days, ie on or before 04/04/2014. If you provide comments, you must concentrate on the points made by the company. You cannot add new information that you forgot to mention earlier, as per the ‘Information for customer’ guide.
You may submit your comments in writing, by post, email or fax. Please ensure you mark you mark your Comments with you case reference number as shown above.
Upon receipt of the comments a copy will be sent to the company for their information and to the adjudicator for their consideration.
If no comments are received, the adjudicator appointed will proceed in making the final Decision.
We look forward to receiving your comments on defence.
Yours sincerely0 -

I know this is the devil in me but....
For the hell of it why not email CISAS and say that you are not sure if you can respond by the 4th - can they extend the deadline to 7th?
You don't have to miss the 4th, but it would be very interesting to see what they say!0
