If it's beyond the CISAS then why did EE refer me to them? Hmmm, they seem to be contradicting their own argument.

    35. Further or alternatively, the material detriment issue constitutes a complicated
    issue of law.

As i have previously stated this surely flies in the face of the UTTCRs
35.2. As noted above the proper construction of the Old Term may not be
easy to establish. It does not make clear which statistical measures of
inflation may be used for the purposes of comparison.

It clearly states ANY measure of inflation!

35.3. Further, the meaning of material detriment needs to be established both as a matter of contractual construction and by reference to the regulatory context. The term is not defined explicitly in the Agreement or in GC9.6. The fact that Ofcom has recently published guidance on the issue of material detriment in respect of price change clauses indicates that absent such guidance, the issue of material detriment is unclear; and that the considerations applicable to determining material detriment can be complicated.

Then how can they be so sure that the change is not to our material detriment!? Also if it is unclear then the most favorable meaning to the consumer is used!

I was checking the EE site for various things and came across a link to report EEemployees for unethical behaviour. It might be worth reporting the MD. It has to be done by letter rather than email to
    The Company Secretary
    EE Limited
    2620 The Quadrant
    Aztec West

If the case is beyond the remit of CISAS, why do EE bother to respond, it should go straight to court. If it is too complicated for customers to understand the regulator need to demand amendments to the contracts to make them crystal clear for simpletons like us. OFCOM have already ruled on the meaning of material detriment, it is clear, you can't put the price up!!
At the risk of repeating myself you need to be very wary of not exhausting both EE's internal dispute procedure and the CISAS procedure before going to court. If you do not do this the court will not be impressed and may require you to and possibly award costs against you. The golden rule is to play it strictly by the book particularly when, as we we'll know, EE will try all sorts of irregular things to stop you claiming. God luck with your claim.

My Orange account still works. But there have some changes, the dropdown on the homepage for 'Your Account' is empty. There is a link in the banner to the EE signin page now.
