Given that they didn't actually announce the price increase until early April how on earth can you have been calling about it. It's fairly clear you were calling about the change in T&C's, and the operator didn't bother to record it correctly.

I'd do what RC has suggested, ask for a full transcript of the conversation. It's unlikely you'll get one.

Thats true, Hope RC will recommend the text to send.

How long after submitting defence response do you find out who your adjudicator is?

  • Chalk up another one - I've won !!

Massive thank you to Random Curve (the £100 compensation will be donated to the charity you mentioned earlier in the thread), along with anyone else who gave me advice.

Won compensation, backdating of claim to 13th February and PAC and unlock code.

Now just a quickie, a friend of mine has just started working in an EE shop (we all need to work) and can get a very generous discount on products, can I use my PAC code to go onto a new EE deal ?

    Congrats!!

    Regarding using your PAC code:
EE to EE - No, can't use it. You will be allocated a new number if you decide to move.
Orange to EE - No (see post 1686)
T-Mobile to EE - No (see post 1686)
Any other n/w to EE - Yes

In a nutshell you can't use it to move within the same network. Orange and T-mobile PACs are allowed as they were different networks initially.

So you would need to get a PAYG SIM from Three and port to them using the PAC EE supplied, then get another PAC back to EE?

Much obliged. I believe mine was on an Orange contract, even though of course it's now EE, so I'll try it.

Sorry, ignore the initial part of my original post. You can no longer use your PAC code to move from Orange/T-Mobile to an EE plan (see http://ee.co.uk/help/getting-started/joining-ee/keeping-your-number). I remember this used to be the case at the time the merge happened last year; however I believe that they have changed this now.

Only option will be to port to another network (probably get a payg sim) and then get a PAC code to port back to EE.

Updated my original post to reflect the same.
