some of the posts on here are bordering on 'abuse'. This poster lost their much loved pet - cut them some slack or I am going to be pressing the 'report' button.

Meritaten, if you look over the other two threads, you'd see that a lot of very good advice has been offered and was rudely shunned or reported, simply because it did not fit with what the OP wanted to hear.

You may feel th need to report people for being abusive. Many of us who have tried to help are dog lovers, but our posts are considered of no value by the OP.
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?

I have not reported anybody for any of their posts.

I have read the other threads - except where posts have been removed. it was moved up here so Hachette could get advice from other pet owners. Who I would have thought would be more sympathetic. instead, she encounters more rude people. I haven't reported any of it - but, it seems to me that it was gratuitious rudeness and NOT people offering advice.

Here's some very good advice. You are peeved because you feel Hachette doesn't value your post. Then don't post. You and Quackers come across as having a personal crusade also....called 'making hachette give up posting'.

Maybe it's time you put this thread behind you and moved on?

I'm a dog lover and just trying to help you.

I have followed this saga since it began, last November rings a bell.

Hachette has received an overwhelming amount of advice but seems to have chosen to ignore it.

Originally I was going to take my case to the court myself however through the advice that I have received here by some nice people I have decided to get a lawyer and that I have done. My insurer’s legal team are dealing with this now. So I wouldn’t say that I have ignored everything that has been advised on this forum. What I have ignored and rightly so was statements that the wrongdoing was all in my head and I had no chance whatsoever to take action against negligent vet or even proof that negligence had occurred.

Reminds of one of my favourite films - A Few Good Men

"I strenuously object?" Is that how it works? Hm? "Objection." "Overruled." "Oh, no, no, no. No, I STRENUOUSLY object." "Oh. Well, if you strenuously object then I should take some time to reconsider."

Sounds like Hachette is hoping the RCVS will reconsider because of her strenuous objections.

    Asked and answered. End of.
