Just got a bill which I have been asking for since the 03/02/14 & now they have used estimates even though I have given readings each mth? I didn't realise they could get away with a customer service so bad?
My offer still stands 'If anyone from Scottish Power is on this forum feel free to answer'

  • List of problems since changing tariff in in December 13. Meter reads supplied but the View Bill button never appears. Direct Debits no longer being taken. I've been onto them countless times and their promises are never kept. They say they'll get back within 5 days but never do.
I was told that their senior management have instructed that Meter reading reminder emails are not to be sent anymore!

I'm pretty sure that they are obliged by a code of conduct that they should provide timely and accurate bills.

I shouldn't have to think about this but need to keep on top of it as do not want a bad credit rating.

Can't wait till this fixed term finishes so I can change to a different provider and not incur penalties.

Same here will be switching as soon as. I am waiting yet again for my bill to be corrected, not expected to hear from them, so next stage will definitley be a complant & Ombudsman.

I have finally managed to get one proper online bill out of them since a Dec 13 tariff change, for readings taken at the end of last month. Have been promised countless times bills would be produced for previous readings with no result. However, have not had problems with payments being taken.

Hi.... as mentioned before, my last 2 bils had estimates even though I had given readings. Also readings I had just given suddenly changed to estimates in my account for some reason? Not expecting any joy since sending my last email, so just getting ready all information/evidence for complaint/ombudsman.Just had enough of their incompetence since joining them in Sept 13, had enough chances now. Their so annoying that I don't even care that they are still the cheapest for me any more.

I hope Watchdog is back soon.I can see this useless company featuring on there, and let's see them try to defend themselves then. They have gone from one of the best, when i signed up with them over 5 years ago to one of the worst.
  • Hopefully resolved issues with them, only been waiting for over 2months! My main gripe with them is why can't they put a hold on demanding payment till their complaints dept have sorted it. My letter seems to have done the trick, with them blaming the increased amount of calls etc!!!!!! Only problem now is that I can't log into my account, not sure why:(
