It seems SP's online billing system has gone tits up, anyone else unable to view their recent bills online? It also happened in Nov, had to call them a few times and even then, the bill was only visible after ~4 weeks after submitting the readings. Already called them up a few times and they say they're aware of the issues but it will take a few weeks to fix  Please tell me i'm not alone! I'm on the Online Energy Saver 21 tariff.

My bill was dated 27th Jan & I can still view it. It may be an issue with your specific date though. Was that when they were updating their system?0

Oh dear...it appears its just affecting some/few users. Never had a problem viewing my bills until SP upgraded their online system back in Nov to a new look and that's when the problems started - took a month before my Nov bill was available to view.0

Just checked and it works for me. The site went off line at weekend0

It was working for me sort of okay earlier. I downloaded all recent bills but could not get any further that 12 months back. I'm about to jump ship so wanted a record of what they owe me before I started the ball rolling.0

Yes,ever since they changed their systems, strange things have been occurring.Estimated bills made up last year, when i had already submitted accurate readings, even having emails stating so!! They were a long time changing over to my new fixed rate and even recently when i had a date by which to submit my readings, they STILL went and estimated them a fortnight early!!
But some people have fared a lot worse,if they leave they have a hell of a job getting any credit due refunded back to them. And try and get them to answer the phone or emails, well you might as well take a trip to outer mongolia and back it would be quicker.
They are losing a LOT of customers and really need to get things sorted very soon.0 -
Thanks Froglet, i'll give them a couple of weeks to sort this out otherwise i'm jumping ship. It would be a shame cos once upon a time SP used to have an excellent online billing system...certainly far better than the likes of SSE.0

They certainly did,and i have been with them for several years for that reason.I even got my Mum signed up online with them, even though she doesn't have a computer. So far her account hasn't got messed about which i am grateful for!0

I've had exactly the same problem. I enter meter readings at the end of every month. I can see balance on screen, but have been unable to view any bills since December.
I also noticed that when I entered my latest meter readings, the screen showed my last submitted day reading as actual and was correct, but my night reading was shown as estimated and was not correct. I have had the e-mail from SP confirming receipt of my meter readings, so don't understand the estimated figure. Have assumed it will sort outself out next bill.0 -
Had the same issue in early Jan0

I too have had the same problem with Scottish Power, since the middle of December I have been unable to download my final bill as I have changed company. I have e-mailed and phoned so many times and each time they promise faithfully to sort the problem and send my a hard copy of the bill . several times while on the phone to them listening to their rubbish music my cordless phone has run out of battery charge. Can not think how they can run a company like this the promise of a email answer within 5 days never materialise. I think that even if they were the cheapest company on the market I would not go back to them:mad:0
