Hi Helzbelz,
I also buy it in Boots. There's an earlier thread on where to buy borax so I've added your post to it to keep the ideas together.

I just placed an order with https://www.soapkitchenonline.co.uk/acatalog/Natural_Cleaning_Products.html
They sell all sorts of things, not the cheapest, but has everything you could want in one place. Warning, it's very very easy to spend way too much, like I just did!!0 -
The Soap Kitchen is a great supplier. I've used them for years for my soapmaking oils.
Another supplier I use is Justasoap.co.uk.0 -

It's funny how different areas have different things for sale.. here, I the only place I can get stardrops is savers, I can get borax in boots but was told before Christmas they weren't stocking it any more.. managed to get some in a larger boots... but now my local boots is stocking it again... new packaging, smaller box... more money!
My local Wilkinsons only do soda crystals no borax no bicarb.
Might be really helpful for people if we had a sticky which listed where stuff is sold in which towns - nothing more frustrating than seeing someone say Wilkinsons do it, only to get there and find they don't stock it in your local store.
(NOT a dig at any one, just making a point)Trying to make a better life.... If you need me you'll find me at the allotment.0 -
In regard to your search for Borax, Boots will be stocking it up until June apparently, when it will be replaced by a Borax Substitute. The new Borax Substitute will also be sold in a larger box at teh same price so you'll get 500g instead of 400g!0
