Have I read something wrong? That percentage is much higher than the numbers - of items bought - you first mentioned suggested. It's high!
I think your English is great by the way! :)

Thank you for being fair and kind too, I appreciate it.

Yes there is a total of 139 cases over the last year and %14.7 of my feedback is neutral or negative. I don't open a case for every item not as described because sometimes I must ship the container ASAP and it should have no less than an X amount of items. So i ship the item even if it's not what I've bidded on but I expect that my profit on that specific item will be very low or sometimes No profit at all. Please note that I don't take this procedure before contacting the seller and explaining the problem, when i make sure he will not reply or was very rude at replying to my messages, I feel obliged to keep the item and ship it rather than waiting 10 days for the problem to be sorted.

Leaving everything aside. Ebay have found that you are leaving too many negs/ neutrals. You came on here for advice as to what was too many and people have provided you with their views. People have provided them. You don't seem to like ebay's views and now you don't like 'the people's views'.

You've already started to appeal with ebay. It'll be interesting to know how that works out.

And from what I can tell, no one was mocking you.

Fran- my comment was just a suggestion. I don't see how it was presumptuous?

IVA- I don't see people being bitter. I see people - Ebay users who are astounded by a buyer having such bad luck. Maybe ebay isnt for the OP?

If you are buying 25 things a day, can you really say that you have time to read all the descriptions carefully and look at the pictures in detail?

  • Agree with OP.

If the seller isn't up to scratch, why not leave negative feedback?

I sell more than I buy, with 99.2% positive FB. The times I have received negative FB, I knew it was my fault.

I don't give negative FB very often [3 in 2 years], but I've been lucky and normally collect in person [Home & garden].

Last time I gave negative FB was for a new coat I purchased, I had to phone eBay to escalate to a case. They were not sending a refund, even after they confirmed receiving the coat 5 days prior. Got my refund 1 hour after that. Shouldn't have had to go that far.

Give them the feedback they deserve, be honest, be respectful, be patient.

    Well said likelyfran

I had no problem understanding any of the OP posts.
Looks to me like we have a lot of bitter sellers just nit-picking.

    Thank you for being fair.

This thread has reflected clearly the mentality of some sellers on ebay. Fortunately they are no more than%15, the majority of sellers I dealt with are Great and for some of them i wish i can review my perfect experience with them in a long paragraph and recommend them to everyone :T
  • No problem.

Ah dear. How an earth can someone accidentally manage that. Actually, I don't think I want to know lol.

    Nightmare isn'it ? :( I'm disgusted
  • Agree with OP.

Because it's affecting their account? Yes, if deserved you should leave negative. Sometimes negatives are left when really they could be avoided though.

Why would you have to phone to escalate it? You can escalate a case online after so many days.

That last line says it all; "Give them the feedback they deserve, be honest, be respectful, be patient". I couldn't agree more. However, some peoples view on what is deserved is different to others.

I wouldn't say nightmare, but yes it is very disgusting and should never happen. Have you contacted the seller about it?

I think some people need to attend a course in communication skills and discussion basics. The majority went out of topic by criticizing, mocking, and asking questions that are not related to the problem that i wrote in my thread. Which is not what i was looking for, in addition that you can't take advise from everyone, especially if they show offensive and barbarian manners.

You can see no body is mocking here because obviously you agree with them and thank all their posts. While me and may be others see the opposite . I've never tolerated the incivility and impoliteness and will never do.

Concerning your last question, YES I have time to read descriptions very well, check pictures and contact the seller if I need more informations or want to confirm the authenticity of an item. I also have time to look after my family and my house.
