ebay removed all the neg and neutral feedback i left over the last year

OK so let me start , i received this morning this message from ebay

To keep eBay a fair and safe marketplace for all members, we routinely review buying and selling activity. In reviewing your account, we found:

An unusually high rate of claims and a highly unlikely pattern within these claims; for example, consistently claiming that items are faulty in a particular way.

Because of this behavior, we've removed from related seller profiles any neutral or negative Feedback, and any low detailed seller ratings left by you within the past year. Please be aware that if this activity continues, you may be subject to a range of other actions, including limitations on your buying and selling privileges, and suspension of your account.

If you have a problem with a transaction, we encourage you to contact the seller first to work out a solution. For more information about contacting your seller, go to:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/buy/contact.html

For information on rules for buyers, go to:

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Regards,

eBay Customer Support

Let me start by making some clear points :

1 - I started buying large quantitites from ebay about 2 years ago mainly electronics PS3, mobiles and some high end designer clothing.

2 - I purchase at least 10 items per day and sometimes go over 25 items per day.

3 - I had a lot of great items which i'm happy with and leave a positive feedback always and wish i can leave 7 stars for some great sellers, good items but slow service i leave a positive feedback saying thanks ++ , item not in good condition and slow service or sellers who come up with some rotten excuses i leave neutral feedback.

4 - I leave negative feedback when :
- Seller never respond to messages after days and days of waiting.
- Item never received and seller doesn't provide any proof of posting or post it ONLY after opening a case.

- Seller sent a totally crap item described as mint or very good condition and insist his item is great even when going through case.
- Seller ask for more money as the final winning bid was not what he was looking for ( I got this too many times ).
- Seller just changed his mind and want to keep the item or he doesn't have time to post it until next month LOL ( happened to me 3 times and found same feedback left for the seller but unfortunately did nit read it efore bidding )
- Sellers who repeatidly reply to any prob ( sorry mate sold as seen ) , this drive me mad

- Seller sent a chinese fake designer item described to be genuine

I try my best to sort out the matter with the seller but when i feel we will never arrive to a solution i open a case straight away and luckily i do win 98 per cent and some times we resolve it without escalating to the customer support in this case i don't leave any feedback and respect that the seller has made an effort , otherwise i leave a negative highlighting the problem.

I've had 139 cases over the last year , is that considered too much for someone who buys 100's of items every month ??

I also found that electronics is the main area where scammers take place, as most items sell for over £100 and then they disappear or when it is not working they tell you that it was with their child or grand child who must have done something wrong to the console and they are sorry and ask you to return it at your own cost, as ebay always require a royal mail recorded delivery proof it will cost over £20 for returning, and in order to get the prepaid label from ebay i should wait until I escalate the case , oh feeling exhausted of this !!!!

now I'm just gutted to see all the feedback i left are removed , I feel that's very unfair and doesn't respect the feedback policy which i'm following very well ; no profane or insults but brievly what happened !

any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

How come the buyers who trash feedback always have butter wouldn't melt names.

    Cutie pie, Mummy2mybabies, animal-lover, caring4you etc

It gives sellers a false sense of security:rotfl:
  • LOL , are you serious for what you wrote above ?? ! now as a seller do you choose to scam or not your buyers depending on their ID's ??

ok now take a deep breath and relax , Little cutie pie is what we call our DS and when registering on the forum that's what comes to my mind, On ebay my ID is my real name with my husbands year of birth , does this now make you feel more secure ??!

just ridiculous how people judge by all the appearances on this world !

Are you serious when you say 139 cases opened in 2 years is not a lot. Ive opened about 5 in 15 years. And i spend a lot on Ebay too.

Can't decide if this is a joke or serious. 139 cases - Ebay should have pulled you after 20.
  • I would say thats still a fair amount of negs to clock up and that maybe you should be more careful what and who you buy from
too many buyers bid and think later and if they considered what they were doing maybe they would have better ebay experiences

Why are you on this thread then ?? if you are here to play the funny element believe me you are not, take your pop corn and run somewhere else . My question here is not HOW many cases YOU have opened people, considering 500+ purchases every month, LEARN to READ WELL before replying.

I've had some great items with sellers that have less than 50 feedbacks and bad items with sellers that have over 1000 feedbacks , sometimes i just stare at someone with 1000s positive feedback who sent me a used item described as brand new !! when i say used i mean it shows a lot of signs of use and simply it is a used item.
