I can't stand thin metal cutlery. I like my metal cutlery chunky with heavy, weighted handles. It makes all the difference to a meal, don't ask me why.

The feel of unglazed pottery goes right through me - it's horrible!

Also coming back from town my stop is the last one on the route so the bus ALWAYS stops there. No need to ring the bell and yet, almost every journey, someone does.

Haha I annoyed myself by doing that this morning! Was late, so jumped on a bus, only I forgot to see which bus and didn't know if the station was the last stop. Sod's law it was. Felt like a right muppet.

I did at least apologise lol.

I'm with you there, cheap cutlery can ruin a good meal.

I hate bubbly tea, not sure why but I think it's somehow my brain interprets there will be some washing up liquid in the mug which has led to bubbles forming on the top. I've always thought this right since I was young.

My OH has a habit of sometimes shaking the milk bottle (why?) particularly when there's not much left in it, and then giving me a cup of tea with bubbles on the top. Grrrrr.

I'm actually a bit horrified people would change it in other people's homes to suit their 'foible'. I think its rather rude tbh. If the host has the opposite foible it could really frustrate them.

Fwiw, our loo roll is heaped in a basket so goes either under nor over. :D

Someone done this after using the bathroom in my house. I thought it was weird and it did annoy me! Not because I am funny about how mine hangs, I just thought it was rude.

I admit to changing the loo roll in my house, though out of 3 of us who use the bathroom only two of us bother the change the damn roll. I walked I. Yesterday to see a new roll resting upon the empty tube! How bloody hard is it to change it!!!

I noticed the other day that when I get on an escalator (going down) I won't go on the first step, I have to wait and get the next step. Never realised I do that but thinking about it I have always done it. No idea why.

I don't think I always do this, but I do sometimes do it. I think it comes from when I was a child, trying to work out how fast the escalator was moving and when it was safe to get on.

  • I really don't like toilet rolls hanging with next new sheet facing inwards, has to be outwards! My brother is the same too. We exchange conversations regularly of the horror of finding them the 'wrong' way around in peoples bathrooms and have to face them the right way before using it!!

I also thoroughly agree on hanging washing up properly, the OH is slowly learning but gah sometimes I was just want to scream at him when I find my work tunics on a trouser hanger all awkward making me take twice the time to iron them! Grr!!

Oh and best of all doing all the washing up, then coming back upstairs to find a rogue cup hiding. Grrrrr!

    Maybe I need more therapy...!!

  • I thought of another one when I got into bed last night - I always like to sleep facing outwards of the bed. Had trouble lately with my left shoulder so have forced my boyfriend to swap sides so I can face out the other way! :o

Forgot to mention: I always open crisp packets the right way up. It doesn't feel right if the packet's upside down!

I do as well but not sure that its a particular quirk of mine, just never ever occured to me to consider opening a packet upside down.
