    OMG, reading this has made me realise that im not as normal as i thought i was!

    Cutlery has to match. Odd cutlery makes me queezy although its acceptable to have different cutlery at the table as long as each setting matches.

    Bits of fluff on the carpet is a big no no. I need to hoover them up everyday. Sometimes twice.

    The toilet seat should be down. Not up.

    All jars etc should be label front facing in the cupboard. I hate it when things dont face forward. My mum and OH find this hilarious.

    I CANT STAND finger prints on glass. This is the reason that i have no mirrored furniture and no glass tables. I have so far veto'd bifold glass doors for this same reason.

    Im sure there are plenty more but those are the ones that come to mind!

    I didn't really think I had any noticeable foibles until I read this thread and I do too!

    Toilet roll must be over the top....have been known to change friends to the 'right' way round;
    I HATE when anyone flicks my nails, murder may follow;
    Everytime my OH sniffs I tell him to get a tissue, it drives me nuts....
    And on MSE loose/lose and too/to are my personal irritations when reading although I never use apostrophes....

    Toe nails... just the sight of a toe nail is enough for me to start heaving.

    All flooring must be vacuumed, mopped and clutter free. You can pile the junk up on the workspace but leave my floor space alone!

    One thing I cant bear is people who push the button on a bus over and over. Its like water torture. Sometimes its young kids who dont know any better and I get that, but sometimes its teens who do know better.

    When its five minutes to home and you are on a bus and all you hear is ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.

    People who take up the entire pavement when they walk in front of you, somehow manage to morph into being the same size as the pavement and you cant get past them

    Motability scooters, I have nil issue with people who need to use them, but Ive almost been run over a couple of times by someone on one. I was going to town to meet my mum one day, this old guy almost ran her over and I saw that, then he headed towards me and yes, I had to leap out of the way because he was heading straight for me.

    I've read my way through all thirteen pages of this thinking "Thank Gawd I don't have any of these, life's too short!"

    Then I remembered I've got one thing...can't stand a snag on a fingernail. I hate the way it catches on things so I have a pair of nail clippers and an emery board in the car, in my handbag, by my bed, by my desk....and if I somehow end up with a snagged nail and no emery board I'll look for a rough brick or concrete surface to file it down on.

    And I do always have the toilet roll coming from underneath but that's for a logical reason. If it comes over the top one of the cats will find it sooner or later and unroll the whole lot over the floor. I really don't care about which way it unwinds in anyone else's house.

    I'm actually a bit horrified people would change it in other people's homes to suit their 'foible'. I think its rather rude tbh. If the host has the opposite foible it could really frustrate them.

    Fwiw, our loo roll is heaped in a basket so goes either under nor over. :D

    Gosh I have a few 'weird' things......
    We have black and white mugs but I will NEVER drink out of a black mug. I have been known to transfer to a white mug!!
    I always take things form the left. If my OH offered me 2 things in one hand I will always take the left one, even if that's not really the one I want (?)
    The loo roll is under, never over, but that's not an issue seeing as I'm the only mug that changes it!
    When I hang washing out the pegs have to match on each garment. I can have several different types of peg over the line but they have to be the same sort/colour on each item.
    Any socks with holes, even pinpoint, will be binned immediately.

    I think that's it!

    That keep ringing the bell on the bus thing drives me crazy. It seems that as I have got older I have a problem with certain noises and sounds and the bus bell I find annoying anyway but why do people keep ringing it? Someone rings for a stop and unless you are deaf you hear it, then someone else rings, then someone else. What is the matter with people? Sometimes I have to stop myself from screaming. On London buses it seems to be mainly youngsters but on my local buses it is older people.

    Also coming back from town my stop is the last one on the route so the bus ALWAYS stops there. No need to ring the bell and yet, almost every journey, someone does.

    The pavement thing too annoys me. I walk fairly fast but it seems as though everyone in front of me walks at the speed of a snail, no joking I don't even know how they manage to walk so slow and it is always almost impossible to get past them
    The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie

    I discovered my husband has 2 I never even knew about until the other day, apparently the heating control on the car must always be on an even number and never ever a half and the volume control on the stereo must never be on 13 same with the t.v!
    whats that all about!
    I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.
